HECTOR HEART HADN'T JOINED THE FENCING CLUB. Or whatever the hell it was. He had only gone to see Carlos. (And if anyone asked he'd say it was all his friends; Jay, Carlos and sorta Chad).   But, he enjoyed it.

He sat over to the sides, on the deck above. Although, next to the training structure, there was a waist-level high wall, separating the fencing team from the crowd. Hector opted out and went to the section above to watch.

Hector turned his head, when feeling as though he was being watched.

"All right, boys, let's line it up," Jay calls out. "Carlos, you're with me, let's go."

Everyone stood up, lining up two sides of the space. Everyone stood across another person.

"Salute!" Jay calls out. Which had caused for everyone to pull their swords up, against their head.

"Lower the point,"  Jay commanded. Which lead for all swords to be pointed at the ground.  "Masks down."

Everyone pulled their masks down.

"Hector!" A cheerful, excited voiced called out.

Hector, focused on watching the practice, had jumped slightly. The placement of a soft, gentle hand on his shoulder. He quickly turned, as if to prepare to defend himself. The hand was quickly pulled away, the person stepping back.

Jane frowned, a look of guilt on her face. "Sorry, Hector." She speaks again, in a soft, gentle tone. "I didn't mean to scare you."

Soft, gentle, caring, and cheerful always seemed to be the way to describe (almost) all the people in Auradon. He wasn't used to it, even now.
