Until I was dead

Because before the petals dropped like blood

You were the only moon of the night I was thinking of

And I didn't even have to kiss you in order to love

Hugging you with my heart and for you to look back

Left a scar like a faraway planet away from the sun

Where thorns were considered scars and roses were considered flowers but to me it was all red light and rose petals

That made the skies of the blue turn grey and then the moon started to make the rain blue like the washed up waves on the ocean where the clouds began to bloom the waters of the petals like flowers but each raindrop started to flood the waters and out of the vase there was flowers but there was only an hourglass full of water not just sand on the shorelines but all of our secrets were etched like initials in a heart on the boardwalk where under the sunset is where you first danced with me and kissed me like you took my hand and gave me a ring to keep my heart and right away it was like a red light rose petals moonlight.
