"He says he wants you to have all the space you need to get settled back at home" she replied "tell him I'd like to officially meet him if he could come for dinner that'd be great" you say "I'm sure he'll enjoy that I'll call him" your mom says, She goes to call him

Mom: Heyy so y/n wants to know if you want to come have dinner with us
Moms bf: Oh sure, well how about I cook for you too yall can come over here?
Mom: Sounds good! And thank you for being so patient with everything that's been going on
