When Jungkook stepped out of the airport, he felt lost. It was the first time he had traveled all on his own, but the prospect of finding Kate and telling her how much he loved her made him courageous again.
With his hat low on his face and a mask covering the lower part of his face, he stood in line for a taxi. Once it was his turn, he asked the driver if he could take him to the address Jungkook had written down on a piece of paper.
"We are here, sir?" The driver told Jungkook, who was still looking at the picture he found on Kate's Twitter account.
"Koob-Khun-Krab," the youngest BTS member replied as he handed the taxi driver the money for the fare.

As he stepped outside, his eyes looked at the giant building and all the names of companies that were listed next to the entrance.
With long strides, he made his way to the elevator to reach the fourth floor, where the company Kate was working for was located. On his way up, he could feel his heart starting to beat fast and his palms getting sweaty because of how nervous he was.
"Sawadee-ka," a middle-aged woman greeted the singer when he entered the office. Jungkook bowed and walked to the reception desk.
"Sawadee-krab. I am looking for a woman that works here."
"Oh well, we have a lot of women working here, and I think a lot would be happy if you, handsome creature, were looking for them." Jungkook blushed at the compliment before he took his phone from his bag.
"I am specifically looking for Kate?"
"Kate? I do not recall we having an employee named Kate at our company?" The receptionist let him know as he looked at her computer screen to see if she could find someone named Kate.
"It is this woman?" Jungkook showed the picture he had found on the internet to the woman.
"I am sorry, but who told you her name is Kate?"
"She did. I have known her since she was in Korea, and I have been looking for her these last few months." Jungkook explained with a smile.
"Well, the person you are looking for is not working here anymore. I cannot believe that June has someone as handsome as you come looking for her. Anyway, you will not find her here?" The receptionist handed the phone back to Jungkook.

"June? So, her name is June, not Kate." Jungkook murmured when he sat down on the stairs of the building a little bit after. He was getting desperate to find her and was about to reach out to her again over Twitter when two young foreign women sat next to him with their lunch.
"I cannot believe that June is actually marrying our boss?" The one to the right said as she unpacked her sandwich.
"Yeah, she is such a lucky girl. Even if he is a bit older, he is rich and can buy her anything she wants." The other woman added before taking a bite of her salad.
"So, are you going?"
"Where? The wedding? Of course, who would miss this grand spectacle? It will be the event of the year, and even the location is wow."
"I know the Sheraton Grande is just the place for wealthy people to get married."
Jungkook knew he should not eavesdrop, but if the June they were talking about was his Kate, then he needed to find her.
Hastily Jungkook grabbed his stuff and hurried to catch a taxi to bring him to the location.

During the ride, he had to hold back his tears as the information the women had shared was hard to digest. Was Kate really about to get married?
When Jungkook arrived at the hotel, he was only driven by his need to find her. He walked up to the front desk, where a young man greeted him with a welcoming smile.
"Sawadee-krab, how can I help you, sir?"
"I am looking for a woman named June." When the words left his mouth, Jungkook realized how stupid his request must sound.
"Do you have a last name, sir?"
"No, I just know she will get married here soon."
The man looked at the singer as if the latter was crazy.
"I am sorry, but we cannot give you any information about our guests." The man apologized with a genuine smile.
