The Secret Caller- Part 1

The sunrays fell on a couple who were cuddling to each other and sleeping. Akshara opened her eyes and found herself in the tight grip of her husband. It was going to be one year to their marriage this week and she realised how her husband still loves her the same way, or even more as time passed by. She smiled at her thoughts and slowly kissed his chest. Abhimanyu opened his eyes on the sudden sensation and saw his wife smiling to him while holding him tightly. He loved waking up to her smiling face and slowly kissed her forehead before closing his eyes and drifting to sleep again.

"Arey Arey! Get up! Time dekha hai tumne? It's 8 o clock and we have to leave for hospital in some time." Akshu chided Abhi

"Please na Akshu! Just 5 more minutes?" and he hugged Akshu even tightly, now caging her face completely in his chest. He felt warmth when she was close to him and it was very difficult for him to let go of this feeling.

"Abhiiii, please look it's going to be....." and Akshara's phone started ringing. Akshara stopped speaking and tried to come out of his grip. Abhimanyu also left her and she finally picked up the call.

"Check your inbox right now." the caller said and hanged up even before Akshara could reply.

"Hello? Who- Inbox?" Akshara tried to enquire something but of no use. She called back and the phone went switched off. 

"Akshu? Who was it?" Abhi murmured in sleep.

"Don't know. Some unknown number called and just asked me to check my inbox." 

"Acha check it na and tell me what is it?"

Akshu opened the message she received from the same number and read it.

"Hello sweethearts. I know Abhi must be there too. Make sure he reads this too."

Akshara read this part loud and Abhimanyu straightened himself on hearing it. Now they both were looking at the text. It read-

"Both of your families are with me right now. Don't panic, they're all safe and pretty much happy wherever they are. But I'm not sure till when. If you want them back, you need to agree to all my demands. To be very honest, I have no big demands. In 5 minutes, a delivery boy will knock the door and give you a parcel. Wear whatever is there in it and Akshara you, please wear some good, expensive jewelries too, and then sit in the car which I will send in 1 hour. By 10 o clock, I want you guys here infront of me otherwise your families......"

On reading the text, they both went numb. They looked at each other and had no idea how to react! Someone took away their whole family and they got no idea, even when they were sleeping in the same house. Akshara started crying immediately and Abhimanyu hugged her to provide some comfort. But he himself was shocked. After a few minutes, he left her and went out of their room shouting. "Maaa, Sir?? Taiji, Tauji? Aap log hain na yahan? Neil, Nishita, Parth bhai, Bhabhi? Arey koi to jawaab do?" He was shouting as if to comfort himself but of no use. He could sense the house is empty. He looked up and saw Akshara crying profusely now. With trembling hands she called at her home but no one picked. She called each and every member but no one picked. Same happened with Abhimanyu when he tried to call his family members. Just then Neil called back Abhimanyu. He instantly picked it up and put in on the speaker while Akshara rushed down behind him.

"Bhai Bhabhi, please whatever that caller said to you in the morning, follow that. Our betterment is in that only. These people look dangerous. That caller is still infront of me bhai I'm scared and-" and the line goes blank. 

Now Abhimanyu and Akshara were literally shaking. They were trying to calm themselves thinking that their families are playing a prank on them but this- this was unexpected. Neil sounded terrified. They both nodded to each other and decided to follow whatever that secret caller asks them to do next.

Just then the doorbell rang and Abhimanyu was moving forward to open the door but as he left Akshara behind, he could sense her shaking out of fear. Immediately he held her hand and they both went towards the door. Abhi opened it and a guy dressed in black shirt and trousers, his face completely covered with black goggles and a black mask handed them a parcel. Before Abhimanyu could ask him anything he went and sat in his car, driving away. He opened the parcel and there was a black tuxedo suit for him and a beautiful red sequin saaree for her. The note read with the parcel read "you just have 30 more minutes to get ready."

Without even thinking much Abhi and Akshara went to their room and got ready. Akshara recalled that the guy had asked her to wear some heavy jewellery. She took out a diamond set but her hands were shaking while wearing it and she couldn't do it. Abhi saw her struggling and rushed towards her, helping her with the jewellery. She started crying again when she found him near and he nodded in a no, assuring that everything will be fine. They both were ready and went down to see a black car already parked infront of their house. The same delivery guy came out and covered their faces with a black cloth.

"Who the fuck are you-" Abhi tried to shout but the guy pushed him the car. 

"Another word, and I'll stuff cloth in your mouth too." 

"NO PLEASE!" Akshara shouted as she moved in the direction where the voices were coming from, since she was unable to see due to the black cloth. "Abhi, meri jaan, please control yourself today! For the sake of our families please!" 

"Hmm" he replied and calmed himself. The guy lead Akshara to the car and they both sat while he drove away. 

Abhi held Akshara's hand and she rested her head on his shoulders. The cloth on her eyes was wet due to the tears. Abhi was also confused and more than that, he was scared. He was sure that he would rescue their families but Akshara was with him too. What if something happens to her? He was just thinking all this throughout the trip, his heart beating fast, unaware of whats coming up next. Suddenly the car stopped with a jerk.

"We've reached" the driver declared.

Okay so turns out it'll be a two shot! Can you guess who called Akshara? Well if you want a hint, the character is from the show itself and you know him. And tbh looking at the plot it must be easy to guess loll.

Also if you thought this chapter is boring with excess of dramatization, trust me next chapter is gonna be better and you'll like it definitely.

Also since I'll try to update that one very frequently, the updates of this book might slow down. Though I'll try my best to maintain both.
