Falling Asleep

Night takes the sky and sleep falls over her when she feels complete terror. The door slowly creeked open. She felt chills up her spine and goosebumps spread over her skin. She was so afraid to open her eyes afraid of what was awaiting the touch of her sight. She was so scared of the monster awaiting her. She slowly turned as though she was asleep and opened her eyes just enough to see a stretched black figure almost as like it was a shadow peering over her body. She closed her eyes and felt the realest fear you can feel ,the point when you think that death is what comes next. She then hears a deep voiced ,sharp ,quiet whisper "I know you're awake ,you can scream for mother but she can't help you anymore ,she never had the chance to scream for you my dear." . She then jolts up only to find she was sleeping and the night terror seems so real but it wasn't. As she slid back down into bed she froze. As a noise from the past the door slowly creeked open.
