Brena left Slughorns dinner party in a rush. She was already late for detention and knew she would get yelled at for it. She couldn't even wait for Regulus like she had wanted to. But she would thank him later for saving her from the uncomfortable questions from Slughorn.

She hadn't wanted to talk about her family being dead or kidnapped. Or how she was living in a shack of a house with Greyback outside of school. No one knew about it. Well, Albus Dumbledore did now. He was currently working his connections to get her a place to stay during the summertime. Also, trying to gather a group of people to help retrieve Phineas.

Brena wished she could help with it. She felt useless being in school and not being able to help in saving her brother. But as Albus had already told her. She was helping- by working on the cure for her brother and for Remus Lupin. Brena didn't even care about becoming famous for finding the cure. She only wanted her brother to be safe.

"Your tardiness is becoming a problem, Ms. Willard." Brena looked to see that Joystone was glaring at her as she moved to sit between the two boys. There had only been one desk, since they were still dueling.

"I was at Professor Slughorn's dinner party." Brena spoke up. "He wouldn't let anyone leave until after dessert. I'm sorry." She apologized swiftly. Hoping it was enough to not get another detention. Joystone scoffed but nodded.

"Very well." She sighed before moving to stand in front of the desk. "Lines. Mr. Potter and Mr. Black has already started. You will write 'I will not disturb the class with my Tardiness.'" Joystone sneered. Brena sighed, nodding. "I need to go take care of some things, so when I return, you will be done." With that she left the room. Brena huffed as she pulled out some parchment and her pen.

Luckily the tremble in her hands wasn't as bad as it was before. Still there though. Sirius and James looked at her and then looked passed her to each other.

"Well don't you look beautiful." Sirius flirted into her ear, causing Brena to stiffen. His nose nearly touching her hair. James smirked, leaning over as well.

"She does look awfully pretty. Were you trying to impress someone?" James questioned as Brena inhaled the cologne they both seemed to share.

"Or were you trying to get our attention?" Sirius asked. Brena closed her eyes shut tightly before leaning back in her seat so they were not whispering in her ears anymore.

"For your information. Everyone dresses up for the dinner parties." She quipped in a sassy tone. "You both would know that if you had earned a spot in the Slug Club." Sirius snorted as James laughed loudly.

"What? So that old man can collect us on his pristine shelf?" Sirius barked out a laugh, shaking his head.

"I'm too special to be wasted on a shelf, Brena." James added with a smirk. Brena looked at James with a raised eyebrow.

"Lily Evans is in it." She told him. Knowing he had a crush on the Evans girl. James stared back at her, shaking his head.

"I don't know. I might prefer attending just so I can see you in this short dress." He flirted with a wink. Brena shook her head at him before moving to go back to writing. Her pen scratching against the parchment in quick cursive. Huffing when she had to move her hair to the side so it would quit tickling her face. The boys were back to writing as well. Both sporting smirks on their lips as if they had achieved something.
