Pete had stopped the family van at a nearby hotel at Gravity Falls, Oregon. The hotel was relatively small— more like a motel however it was advertised as a hotel.
Pete stepped out and took a deep breath "well, McGee's! This weekend so where we'll be staying for the summer. So get use to it! "
Scratch, a blue ghost, had rolled his eyes "I already hate it."
Molly stepped out, grinning brightly she hugged him " aw come on!! It'll be fun! I've heard there was a oddities store nearby, we should check it out! I heard it has food~" she spoke in a teasing voice.
Scratch's eyes slightly lit up (or- well, as lit up as a dead person's ghost could be) at the slightest mention of food. "Yeah, alright. I think I'll like it here. "
Daryl grinned as he was already plotting mischief, crossing his arms.
Pete sighed "well kids, and Scratch- while I and your mom get us unpacked and into our hotel room why don't you go explore? "
Daryl laughed "oh this is going to be so fun" he rubbed his hands together, grinning even more than he already was before walking off to a direction.
"Sooo, whatcha say best bud? Wanna go to that oddities store? " Molly looked at her ghost friend, Scratch grinned "yeah let's get some food! "
