I like everyone else had always heard of the man, the man who has the most power, who no man could ever overthrow. A label no one other than him could gain.
He is in every children's book. The bad guy who hurts people, and a very powerful man that nobody can stop and everybody is terrified of, I heard of him too my grandmother would tell me stories about him. About how cruel he was, about how he never cared for anyone but himself. But she always finished it off with a" myth, that is what he is". Mother always made sure to tell me this, as though she was assuring herself more than me, yet I never said anything. I always listened to my grandma talk about him, about how this man conquered the sea and turned them dark. Made them scary and all under his power handled the monsters.
But I was a kid and I never thought much about it, yet I admired this man I aspired to one day meet him. No matter how many times my mom told me that he was history's biggest myth, a simple bedtime story that everyone heard of. Or was he?
Everybody had heard of him, saying his name itself would send shivers down one's back. Yet they would always reassure the person next to them and themselves, always dismiss the thought by saying, "he is nothing but a myth". And as a myth, he would always remain.
But would anybody have guessed that in the deepest pages of history his story remained untouched, and all the secrets around and about him would always remain untouched.
But what would happen when fate has different plans?
What happens if the darkest myth in history is revealed?
