M A D D I S O N

"MADDISON wake up we are leaving for the airport in two hours!" A familiar voice loudly says causing me to wake up, but I don't open my eyes.

"Can I have thirty more minutes." I groan pulling the covers over my head.

"Nope."

And there you have it folks. Laddies and gentlemen my mom.

"Come on you have to wake up or we're going to miss our flight." She says leaving my room and the door open.

Really!!

I sit up on my bed but immediately fall back down and let out a huff. I hate waking up in the morning. Why do we even have to wake up this early if we're leaving in two hours? I just lie there staring at the ceiling. After a bit I use all my core strength to lift myself up and sit up straight. I rub the sleepiness out of my eyes, let out a yawn and do my morning stretches.

I stretched my hand over to my bedside table at take my phone out of the charger. I checked the time and it's 6:30 in the morning. I hop out of bed, make it and head over to my bathroom. I brush my teeth, do my business and take a quick ten minutes shower.

Once I was done I wrapped a towel around my body and walked to my mirror and tilting my head to the side so my hair is hanging on one side and started ruffling the towel with my hands, into my hair and drying it. After a few seconds my hands started to become sore so I ended up giving up on drying it and I just let it air dry. I step out the bathroom and open my suit case, pick out an outfit that I thought would be comfortable for a long plane ride.

(MADDISON'S OUTFIT)

I sit on the floor with my legs crossed, and my makeup bag because all my furniture is gone, because I donated it and was in desperation of new furniture. All my furniture was all damaged. Yes, I know how did that happen? Well... I actually don't know.

I put on some concealer, mascara and lip gloss to finish up the look. Lastly I brushed out my hair so their are no knots. I pack my makeup bag back into my suit case and stood in by my door, taking one last glance at my room.

For some reason I start to get sad and it finally hits me. I'm loosing my home. My childhood. My room. My happy place. The place I grew up in and spent all my good and sad moments. Water starts to collect on my eyelids causing my vision starts to get blurry. I close my eyes tightly shut and open them again. A tear falls down my cheek and I quickly wipe it away.

I exited my room and made my way down the stairs still tired, I put my suit case down by the front door and walked towards the kitchen where my mom, dad and my brother, Jayden are.

As I entered the kitchen everyones eyes shoot up at me. My mom was standing behind the kitchen island with her elbows bent and her coffee I assume in her hands, with the rim of the mug on her lip. Funny enough my mom and I extremely love coffee. We both can't last a day without it. On the other hand dad hates it and loves tea.

Speaking of tea, he's sitting on a stool on his laptop with a cup of tea beside his laptop. Jayden has a piece of bacon in one hand, eating it talking to mom

I slowly walked towards the kitchen island and took my seat on the stool.

"Good morning." Mom was the first to greet.

"Morning." I replied with a small smile. She walked to a counter on the other side of the kitchen and held something in her hand. She turned around and had a mug in her hands and a plate of waffles drizzled with lots of chocolate syrup and whipped cream. She places it in front of me and the moment it here, the smell of coffee is welcomed into my nose.

"Thank you."

"Pleasure."

"Are you guys ready to go to a new school." She asked Jayden and I taking a sip of her coffee. Jayden nodded and I just replied with a simple "no".

"And why is that."

"I don't know I'm just not feeling the whole 'new girl' thing."

"Ahh." She nods her head, understanding where I was coming from.

We made it to the airport a couple minutes again and we're just waiting for our flight to be called. Jayden and I are playing call of duty. Every time he plays he wins all the time and whenever I play I loose in like five minutes, which makes him laugh causing a sense in the whole waiting area thing. Like I swear I killed them. It's frustrating to be honest.

Jayden and I some how ended up sleeping. My head laying in his lap while his head was on my back. I bend backwards stretching my arms and neck and let out a yawn.

Nice.

I don't know if it's just me and Jayden who love doing stretches when we've just woken up. My muscles feel relaxed. Im not gonna lie my back is pretty sore from the potion we slept in. We were also sitting down and Jayden's heavy ass head and arms where on my back.

"Okay, kids let's get going." Dad claps his hands. We start walking to the plane with my suit case following behind.

Once we boarded, Jayden and I ended up having a fight on who is sitting by the window, and guess who got to sit by it thanks to mom . . .me.

You see this, this is what's nice about being the youngest.

Were now in the sky and it's absolutely gorgeous up here. The yellow ball of sun shining brightly across the horizon and into my window. The white fluffy clouds I wish I could lay on, floating together like nothing can stop them. It's peaceful up her. It's silent. It's beautiful.

Were off to a new place. A new chapter in our lives and a fresh new page. It feels like we've turned to a new page in a book, and it's empty.no writing, words, nothing. It's plain waiting for us to write in it. Our new begging. We're starting all over again. But at least we're doing it together. As a family.
