Chapter one | stranger at the skatepark

It was currently 4am, the h/c was restless as he did drink two energy drinks at 10 into the night, he knew he was fucked so might aswell 'start' the new day and go do something fun.

Well something fun for the h/c was skating, he knew going out at 4am in Florida wasn't a good idea but again drinking two energy drinks before sleeping Isn't a good idea so not his first mistake he made that night, he put on some random hoodie that was most likely dirty, it was always extremely hot outside in Florida so he didn't have to worry about his legs, basketball shorts were good enough for him.

He grabbed his backpack and skateboard and ran out of his house, he didn't have a plan other than to go buy more energy drinks and to skate, he hopped onto his skateboard as he kicked his foot off, going down the mini hill, making his way to the skate park.

He didn't expect to anyone in fact there as it was extremely early in the morning, he didn't bother scanning the place before dropping straight into the bowl, he had been trying some new tricks so he tried one, tripped a little but still caught himself from falling.

He really wanted to try doing it again, so this was his goal for this outing. Without thinking again he climbed out and did his second attempt, it was still as choppy but he wasn't just about to give up, this went on for another ten minutes before he got it, twisting the board into a one-eighty and landing it perfectly as his board hit the pavemen, gliding more into the bowl.

M/n was out of breath so he did a little cheer and laid on the warm pavement.

Few minutes passed and he got up, he noticed someone pulling up and he just kept skating, too drained for anymore tricks he just cruised around.

He looked over and it seemed to be some guy with a hat, some hair seemingly sticking out of the hat as he was wearing almost to same thing as the other, looks like men have very similar style.

He didn't care much but the dude seemed restless and not seeming to care if he was to pass out or something, he walked over and asked him something

"Hey you alright? It's not good to over work yourself when in the bowl"

The brunette looked up at the e/c before he replied with "yeah I just need to finish this or I'll give up" he replied back "mhm, get out the bowl, we're going to get you a drink" Sapnap sighed before getting out, walking over "hey it's fine, I'm just a little too tired right now" Sapnap shrugged
"Let's go to the 7eleven down the street,hm?" He held onto his own board and holding out a hand for him "alright, if that means I could skate in peace" Sapnap chuckles, they make their way out of the skatepark, walking past the huge fence and walking down the seemingly never ending sidewalk.

"So,what's your name?" The brunette looks towards the male next to him, "my name is m/n, what about you" m/n didn't bother looking up from his shoes "nick, but I don't mind the name sap either " m/n hummed in response as they continued walking "cute nickname you got there" m/n chuckles, sapnap smiles at the comment, not bothering to reply.

They made it to the 7Eleven and m/n held the door open for the brunette, he mumbles a small thank you as m/n nods. They make their way to the drinks at the back "I'm getting a red bull" sapnap smiles and m/n scrunches his nose in disapproval "I just met you and I already regret it" m/n joked as he reached for a peace tea "you are crazy Red Bull is great" they made their way to the register and set their drinks down "I'll pay" they both said, reaching into their own pockets "I insist, I dragged you here" without waiting for a response he put a 10 dollar bill down.

Both males sat on the curbside with drinks in their hands as the sounds of police sirens in the distance "well nick, would you like to cruise with me?" M/n looked over to the brunette, nick nodded as he got up grabbing his skateboard with his free hand, m/n following his lead.

They threw away their empty cans before booking it onto the road, the sound of the wheels rolling onto the soft pavement was always m/ns favourite.

They rode in comfortable silence, soon enough the sun was rising and they were back at the skatepark.

"Well I got to get home, my roommate is going to wake up soon and I don't want to worry him" the brunette looked at m/n, m/n hummed before saying "you got Snapchat or something that I can message you on so we could hang again?" He smiled, Sapnap took out his phone before showing him his Snapchat.

M/n took out his phone, adding the user before giving his phone back " it was nice to meet you nick, hope we can do this again sometime" the h/c said with pride that he just made a new friend "yeah I'll definitely be messaging you later, nice meeting you too" with that sapnap left the skatepark.

M/n should probably go home now, it was early morning and his cat was probably getting hungry.
