There stood a middle-age man not far from you, whom you assumed was the father, and a youngster who appeared to be at your age but taller.

It feels like someone has suffocated you by squeezing the last breath from your lungs. It's a sense you all too familiar with; you had to cope with anxiousness.

Thanks goodness you were pretty mature for a child even at that age.

"Young girl? What are you doing at a place liked this," the eldest examine, making his way towards you "it's quite dangerous for you to be here, where's your parents?"

"I don't have one" you lied. Of course, telling the truth about the entire situation that is occurring to you will make things worse. You were desperately trying not to exhibit your worry or let him see how agitated he had made you, you will be doomed if you exhibited any signs of fear.

You simply shook and turn away, wanting to get out before he ask any more questions. You can see his eyes widen in surprise as you say so.

After hearing your words, he becomes a quite concerned. He understands your situation by placing his hand on your shoulders.

"Oh dear, we're sorry to hear that... But are you still unaware of what occurred nowadays?"

You just staring at him blankly, as if you're waiting for him to continue his sentence.

"This location will become a battlefield soon, therefore I recommend that you seek out another alternate lodging, but" The eldest isn't sure why he's acting this way toward you, but the words just slip out of his mouth, "we let you come with us" The words felt like a bullet as soon as they left his lips. He wanted to stop himself but instead, he just want to help you.

You were hesitate at first, but eventually accepted it.

The boy doesn't say anything about his father statement, instead he is merely intrigued about you. Judging by your appearance, you almost appear to be a member of the aristocracy or perhaps simply a regular citizen with impeccable manners.

Perhaps the fact that you were alone here due of the war impact on your village. "What's your name?" He inquired nonchalantly and without hesitation, simply wondering about your family name.

"Oh, it's (L/n) (Y/n)" you replied with a smile, your face lit up as your hands swaying side to side.

They were both giving each other a questionable looks.

'(L/n)... hn' They had never heard about it, maybe your clan has a small population or that they have chosen not to participate in the blood battle. Although they are relieved to know that you were not from the adversaries, particularly the Senju.

Time skip

You take a step forward, steadying yourself and attempting to calm yourself as you enter the Uchiha residences entryway. The three of you were greet by the sight of the clan itself.

"Tajima-sama," several people greeted the leader as they approached him since it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

You were examine the village, it was neither too small nor too large; it was just right. The village was a bustling place. Children and adults were strewn throughout the streets. Some were running around, playing and (fighting?) in various manner.

Your gaze was drawn to a group of children who were playing tag, where their parents was watching over them.

"(Y/n), are you okay?" Izuna was standing at your side as you turned your head to look at him, his gently nudge your arm, worry could be seen on his face as he gazed at your (e/c) orbs.

"I am fine... Izuna" you answered weakly.

Izuna places his right hand to your cheek while slowly stroking it with his thumb

"Hold on," the boy shifted his weight and squatted down with his back facing you "get on my back" It caught you off surprised (really)

"Um..." Without wasting any more time, you proceeded toward him and pushed yourself up onto his back using his arm as support. You instantly put your arms around his neck when he rose up to his full height.

"Are you ready for the ride?, because we're going to flying high to the sky!!" Izuna exclaimed as he cast a glance at you.

You blinked and nodded your head slowly, your heart hammering in your chest.

"nennen yo, oo korori yo, suyasuya to, oyasuminasai" 「ねんねん よ、 おころり よ、 スーヤ スーヤ と、 おやすみなさい」 Izuna begins to sing and humming.

"nennen yo, oo korori yo, yasashii hito ni sodachi masu yo te ni" 「ねんねん よ、 おころり よ、 やさしい ひと に そだちます よー に」you snuggled against Izuna shoulder, while listening to his soothing voice.

"kamisama arigatou, angel mou, arigatou~~" 「かみさま ありがとう, エンジェル もう, ありがとう~！！」As his voice slowly faded, you became drowsy.

Meanwhile someone...

'Big brother going to protect you' He pondered, as he listened to the lullaby, a flood of memories washed over him.
