Part 10

“OW!” They both yell.

Lightning Dust gets up and cleans her Wonderbolts outfit, “Oh my gosh, please watch where you're going!” she said as everyone in the cafeteria watches them and gasp. The girl stands up and apologizes, “s-sorry miss, but you are the one who bumped into me. So technically it's your fault,” she said. LD (Lightning Dust. I'm just going to type her name in short form because I'm lazy as fuck. ) LD feels annoyed because she's the one who is bumping into her and she should apologize, not complain. “Ugh, how dare you! You're the one bumping into me. Just apologize! Is not that hard. 🙄” she said.

“What's going here?!” Spitfire comes in and looks around. “ Don't you know training is almost to start? Why are you all still here? ” she said and everyone quickly goes to training but some people stay to take their thing to the locker. Then Spitfire notices two girls still keep fighting about bumping into each other earlier.

She walks to them. “ Now, what's going on in here, now? ” she said as LD and the girl looked at her. “Sorry captain, she bumped into me and did not apologize. How rude!” LD said but the girl said, “That's not true, Spitfire. She's the one who bumped into me and she's the one who should apologize because she's acting so mean.” the girl said.

LD POV

WTF! Did she just call her name? She should call ‘ captain ’ instead of her name. This girl needs to learn the lesson. Tsk, how embarrassing. I bet the captain will be so mad about this. Then, Soarin comes to us, and then that girl spoke and make me a shock next.

“ Oh hi, Soarin and Spitfire! ” she said and smile. Soarin looks at her and gives her a cute smile. I feel surprised. ‘ w-what? He's never smiled at me when I'm close to him, ... But with her... Why? I don't understand! Even the captain do the same as he did. Did they know her?’

“Who are you? How do you know them?” I said ‘ nicely ’. Captain and Soarin chuckled, “ she's our friend,” the captain said. “And she living with me,” Soarin said as he smile at her. She gives her a smile which makes me puke. She should know that Soarin is mine, not hers. And I do anything to make him be mine.

“ Hello, my name is Iris,” she said to me. I fake smile, “ Lightning Dust. Just call me LD for short. ” I sigh, “Anyway I should go, training will start in a few minutes. Bye Iris.” I quickly left the cafeteria and try to make a plan to get Soarin.

Iris POV

“ Iris, what are you doing here? You should stay at home. Also, how do you know that I'm working here?” Soarin said. I say “ I'm sorry, I'm bored. When I try to find you, you're not there. I don't like being alone again. I saw the picture and I remember you saying that you working with Wonderbolts, so I fly to find you. ” I smile. Soarin's jaw drops and Spitfire is surprised. Soarin is funny tho.

“BUT HOW YOU CAN FIND ME HERE?!” He yells and continues, “Oh my God I'm scared. I have a stalker now. (TT.TT) ” I laugh. " Well, I actually can scent you from far. I guess that is how I can find you ” I smile. “ Wow, that's cool, uh... power?” he said.

Soarin POV

After Training End...

All the people went home and there is some stay here tonight since we have a dorm. Anyways, after the training ended, I walk to find Spitfire and I also ask some of my friends if they see Spitfire somewhere, they said ‘ usually she spends herself in her office or probably in her dorm. ’

I go to her office, she's not there, then I go to the last destination which is her dorm and she's there. I hear the voice tho from outside. I open the door and she looks at me with one of her fingers near her mouth showing the sign of ‘ be quiet ’. I am confused and look at the bed, Iris sleeps peacefully on the Spitfire bed. Btw, her dorm has two beds.

I smile and honestly, she looks cute when she is asleep and it's not the first time I've seen this. “ Can I talk to you in private? ” she nods.

Time Skip

In a restaurant...

I, my friends, and Iris go to a restaurant to have dinner before we go home. We all talk about funny stuff sometimes about our stupidity. When the clock struck 9 o'clock, I and Iris excuse ourselves to return to our home. We went home and get ready to sleep.

Two weeks later...

LD always bothers me anywhere I go especially in Wonderbolts. It's annoyed me and I don't like it, honestly. But when Iris come around, sometimes, she left, rolled her eyes, or even pick a fight with Iris. But of course, Iris will fight back.

Flashback

I heard their conversation. It starts when LD walks into the cafeteria at the midnight. It was dark and quiet since no one is there except Iris and LD. She saw Iris sitting alone, but she couldn't see Iris's face. Iris looks down while sitting at the table, her face looking in front. LD looks around, but no one is there. She sits behind Iris like 2 - 3 meters away and starts the speak.

LD
“ What's your relationship with Soarin anyway? ”

Iris
...

LD
* look at Iris still not moving *
“ Ugh, it doesn't matter... But you should know that Soarin is mine. Everyone knows that and you should too ”
* look at Iris again *

Iris
...

LD
“ Hey, I'm talking to you. Are you even listening? Soarin is mine and you should stay away. ”

Iris
* giggle *

LD
“ What are you laughing about?! ”

She yells. But Iris won't stop laughing. Because ‘ cat kill curiosity ’ LD walks to Iris and hesitates to touch her shoulder then Iris stops laughing. “H - hey, I - ” LD couldn't finish her sentence when Iris hold her hand tightly LD yell and curse at her but it stopped because Iris look at LD in her vampire form. LD yells and tries to free her hand but to no avail.

Iris only said in her demonic voice before she disappear “YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE SOMETHING THAT AREN'T YOURS!” LD looks around her, Iris nowhere to be seen. She scream and left quickly to her dorm. And seriously, she still didn't notice me when she walk past by me.

End Of Flashback

When I remember back about that incident again, I laugh again. God, you made me fall in love with you.
