Chapter 3
Beginning-II
Father coming straight towards us along with mother.
Looks like we did something we shouldn't have done.
Father comes and says "the time has come".
What time? We asked.
"The time that you two learn about your powers" father said.
I knew this world is in medieval period and kind of like a fantasy world but for magic to exist in this world is really unexpected.
Anyway I was really excited to learn this magic because in our previous life it was seen as a joke.
Father said he would teach us magic because we have awaken our powers.
It's part of growing up he said.
He takes us inside the castle saying first we need to know about magic.
Father together mother he takes to a room filed with books.
This room was always locked and we never actually knew what was inside.
Mother brings some books for us, maybe the books teach the basics of magic.
"First of all you two need to learn basics of magic or else it will be dangerous" father said.
He left after saying that.
Mother helped us with the books like what needs to be read to understand magic.
So, according to books this world have a power system.
The amount of magical and physical power is decided by spirit strength of an individual.
The spirit strength varies from race to race.
Humans, Elf, Dwarf and Beastman have same amount of spiritual strength.
Meanwhile angels and demons are far stronger and their lifespan far exceeds that of other races.
Any being surpassing the spirit strength of demons or angels are known as supreme beings.
It looks like people in this world sees supreme beings as god itself.
So, the type of power an individual have is also decided by the type of spirit a person has.
Powers of different people can be sometimes very unique or very bizarre.
As I was reading more books a thought came to my mind.
If magic exists in this world so is the story the mother tells us during night time true?
That explains why we have walls around the castle but demons were defeated right?
So, why are there walls around us.
I don't know but I intent to find out.
