It was moring buy the time I woke up and I didn't know where I was at. I couldn't breath very well. I was worried where I was. I don't like unfamiliar places. There was a knock at the door I went to go answer it.
It was a lady with a beautiful face and kimono. She had dark brown hair and red eyes. She was very pretty. "Good morning love!" She said sweetly with an amazing smile. It lighted up the whole room
"G-good moring!" I said back shy she giggled at that. "Um...do you know where I am at?" I asked she nodded. "Yes this is the fire pillars house." She said I looked confused.
"Oh...the man that saved you yesterday is my husband and this is his house! Come out let me show you around" I nodded. I went with her I trusted her even tho I nearly knew her something about her was very trustworthy.
She showed me around. I saw a baby and a kid who looked to be about my age. He saw use and went up to his mother. "Mom you should be laying down!" He told her and dragged her down to the bed. Next to he other kid.
He was cute both of them where. Ten I think he was. He looked at me his mom whispered in his ear something. But I don't know what it was. But he grabbed my hand and dragged me around the house.
"I kyojuro rengoku!" He said very happy. I have never seen a kid so energetic. I wish I was like that. But I couldn't be and I don't know why.
"I'm...I'm y/n l/n"I said he looked at me."that's a pretty name!" I blushed I haven't talked very much to anybody other than family.
So human interaction was very weird to me. I didn't get along with very many kids in my village because I didn't know how to talk to them. Or maybe I felt more left out than anything.
"Here! This is breakfast! Eat up!" He said placing lots of food in front of me. His father just showed up in anuniform. Which his cape looked really cool.
It had fire on the back. "Did you do this Kyo?" He asked looking concerned for his young kid to have make this. This was not normal for other family's because I did this a lot for mine.
"Yes I did I didn't want mom to do it!" He chuckled it was cool. He sat down. I wait for them to eat before I ate. Kyo looked at me because they have started eating and I wasn't I guess I spaced out.
"L/n...your going to stay with us from now on. Please let use know if you need anything!" He said making me feel more comfortable. Which I appreciate. I saw bowed and he waved his hands telling me not to
Which I didn't mind it's how I showed my thanks. It was a very good breakfast. Kyo's father made a tray of food for his wife and he gave it to her.
"Kyo. I'm going to give this to mom and then change make sure your ready for your training!" He said. Kyo nodded and then asked "can y/n join dad?" He looked at me
I know that answer it's mostly no because woman can't do anything. "Sure it would be fun for the both of you." He looked at me and smiled.
I follow Kyo. "What does your dad do?" I asked. Kyo looked at me with big eyes I guess he looked up to his father. Who wouldn't want tO.
"My dad is a hero he saves people from bad thing they are called demons! They are things that feast on humans and people like my dad save those people from getting eaten by the demons!" He said.
I couldn't believe people did thag now it all makes sense why my family died and now I'm alive. It all makes sense. Why he was there.
We got wooden swords it was kinda heavy but not that heavy. I don't know how to hold his so I tried to hold this like Kyo but it was a fail.
It fell in the ground with a Loud bang. I jumped and then relieved when it didn't hit my feet. Kyo dad showed up a little after that and started to train us it was cool.
He thought me new breathing which was nice. I followed his ways. He said he was prepping us for when we get older and we learn how to use breathing techniques.
Which sounds so cool like will I be able to save people like his father ah that would be so cool. I started to jump up and down.
Kyo and his father looked at me. I stopped and blushed I don't like the attention that I was give it was weird. After a long tried day it was time for food, bath and sleep. Which I didn't mind.
They made me feel comfortable about using what I need to. His mother helped me. Something was wrong with her because she had to lie down in her futon all day.
They wouldn't let her cook, clean or carry heavy things which I thought was weird it was like she had no body strength. But she did.
She helped me with the bath then we ate and I went to go to bed. I couldn't sleep at all. So when I heard everyone sound a sleep I went tour side to the little pound that was there. I was playing in the water when I hear someone sit next to me.
"ahh! You scared me!" I said knowing it was Kyo. He laughed. He was kinda cute not going to lie. I didn't know he was coming till he sat down next to me. Which I should have heard him.
I think I was dazed which is what I am. He had to tap me on the shoulder. "Are you okay?" He asked and seemed very concerned about my well being.
I'm a ten year old who saw and heard her family get killed then by her own stupid almost get killed then got saved my the flame pillar then I live with them.
The next day I eat with them train with them and sleep. And now I'm talking to the oldest son. God I'm not okay I don't think I very will be. " I'm good just out of it. Sorry" I barely whispered. He nodded
" I know I can't understand what you have been through I would love to try to. So if you ever need anything you can talk to me." He said. I was very greatful for that I have my very first friend I can't wait. For what is going to happen from now on.
