-either You are a spider or someone with decent strength
-I don't think he would date just some normal civilians
-it takes awhile for him to warm up to you because he does believe in love or dating
-he usually does one night stands and other "things"
-took him a while to realize he liked you

Illumi:
-He was supposed to Kill you but you crawled your way into his cold dead heart.
-after spending some time with you he was whipped
-falls in love after a few days 😹

Hisoka:
-Met either from the phantom trope or during the hunter exam.
-  he thought you were interesting and wanted to test his strength with you
-would not leave you alone until you sparred with him
-if you won he would become more obsessed with you
-if you lost he would tease and bother you before eventually joining (Y/N)'s harem

Leorio:
-Thought you were rich and wanted to be your sugar baby(I'm kind of joking)
-probably met during Med school and became friends and then lovers

Kurapika:
-met during the Hunter exams and again when he became a bodyguard.
-because the two of you already had a connection since the hunter exam he could easily talk to you about his problems and what not.
-Y'all became serious after the whole murdering a spider fiasco

Killua:
-Met during the hunter exam and instantly became friends.
-you and Gon was his ride or die
-you ended up stealing Gon's man
-even after Him and Gon separates you stuck with him 🤧
-and that's when your beautiful young love blossomed 😻😽

Gon:
-met at whale island.
-you was secretly his cousin/j
-because you were the only kid his age on the island y'all were stuck like glue.
-he took you to the hunter exam with him
-after that y'all didn't separate even after he met his dad.
