Kon'nichiwa! Sorry this is a really late update, and i'm not sure if the story still makes sense, but I wanted to post this before I go on a vacation trip in a few days. The guilt has been eating me away slowly by slowly for not updating in a long time, like, a few months.... but anyway, enjoy!
||Chapter 8||
Ayumu
"Kou-chan, are you free later?" I asked her.
"Hmm..yep, I don't think I have plans today. Why? What's up?"
"I have to buy new goggles! The ones I have right now are all scratched on the eyepiece." I pouted, remembering the time when I dropped it on the floor while the strap was hanging on my bag without me knowing and I ended up dragging it all the way back home after a short practice at Samezuka's. I probably didn't hear it because I was wearing my headphones again (=w=)v (A/N: She basically drags her bag,-like, the really lazy way of bringing it to the point where its just hanging on your hand- so when the strap hangs, it reaches the floor. I think this is on some of your minds :3)
"How did you even scratch it?"She sweatdropped.
"Long story," I sighed.
She just nodded and probably didn't push it because she knows that when I say 'Long Story', I mean it more than I should.
"Alright, we'll go to the mall later."
"Okay."

"I think these look pretty cool," I showed her a pair of goggles.
"Since when did you think of looking cool? Before, you basically grabbed a pair of goggles out of some random shelf and slammed the money on the table and left. Hah, I even remember that time when you accidentally grabbed child sized goggles and-"
"Okay, that is a moment I would really like to forget." I clamped her mouth with my hand.
She giggled and walked over to the men's section, probably to look at the posters or something. Pft, that pervert.
In the end, I got a pair that was my size and had an orange tint to it, you know, to avoid sunlight from directly hitting your eyes.
"I wanna pass by a convenience store before going home, is that okay with you?" I glanced at her while she was texting on her phone.
"Oh yeah, sure."
"Okay. Soo~ who are you texting, huh huh??" I tried sneaking glances at her phone. Keyword: tried. Damn, she had pretty fast reflexes if she took it seriously.
-So we passed by a convenience store and I bought a bunch of boxes of pocky, then we went home-
So I turned on the tv when I got home, and this show where the guy is really good with kids popped up. So I thought, eh, why not watch it?
Aaand I realised, the character and I have a lot in common. Except one thing, and that's him being good with kids. The day I will be good with kids is the day I eat broccoli. *Shudders* Ew, just ew.
I remember one time when I was at a daycare center as a volunteer, and the day turned out really badly. Sure the kids liked me, but that didn't mean I liked them. I really only volunteered because I thought it would be fun when Mom sent me a picture of her taking care of kids in a daycare center. So I tried it out and knew who got Dad's unluckiness with the mini Spongebobs. (No offense to Spongebob lovers out there! I have to admit it's a pretty addicting show ;) ) Apparantly, Sei-nii and Momo-chan were pretty good with them.
