Prologue: Behind the Scenes

Third Person's POV:

After the summit between the Three Great Powers and the attack from the Khaos Brigade led by Katerea Leviathan, Issei went up against Vali for the first time which ended in a draw as the Vanishing Dragon left with Bikou. As for Issei and the rest of Rias' peerage, They were told by Azazel that they will go to the underworld for training especially for the Sacred Gear users before the summer break. But unknown to the Occult Research Club, There was another battle going on and only Issei, Vali, Sirzechs, Serafall, Michael, and Azazel sensed it.

Issei's POV:

While everyone was still sleeping, I stared up at the ceiling. "Training in the underworld is soon!" I said. "First Vali, now we're going to the Underworld for training." I said. "But something that Vali said is bugging me." I thought. "Did you sense it? It seems someone else was near here?" Vali asked. "What was he talking about?" I thought. "I sensed it too." Ddraig said. "You sensed what Vali was talking about?" I asked. "Yes. It was faint but I could sense a strong presence of dark energy." He replied. "Are you saying that there is another dragon?" I asked. "I could be wrong because I haven't seen him in many years. He was my greatest rival and Albion's as well." Ddraig replied.

"A dragon that challenged Ddraig and Albion? That must have a very strong dragon." I thought. "By the way, You mentioned something about a plan, what do you mean by that?" Ddraig asked. "I want to try and achieve this Juggernaut Drive during my training." I replied. "Are you sure?" He asked. "Go big or go home I'd say." I replied. "I should warn you. The Juggernaut Drive is dangerous." He said. "So how come Vali has it?" I thought.

"Your plan is to activate Juggernaut Drive? Pretty risky move." Someone said, as I saw Azazel. "And what does the General Governor of Fallen Angels want with us?" Ddraig asked. "I wanted to ask you about that faint but strong energy nearby while Issei and Vali were fighting. Because he noticed it as well. Then, I also heard of Issei's plan." He replied. "We did." I replied. "Well before we talk about the strange presence, Let's go over this plan you have." Azazel said. "Ok, How dangerous is it?" I asked.

"The Juggernaut Drive is an expressly forbidden maneuver. It can forcefully vent the power sealed in the sacred treasure." He replied. "Yes. And when it's activated, It will temporarily give the user enough power to make the gods envious the price is the user's death or a drastically lifespan at the least." Ddraig added. "It's that dangerous." I thought. "Swear to me. Promise me that none of you will tell Asia any of that no matter what happens." I said.

"I'm guessing Vali must have been able to break the curse on his own or found another way to save himself." He said. "There's a curse to it as well?" I asked. "It's from all of the negative emotions from my past possessors." Ddraig replied. "Is there a way to break this curse?" I asked. "Even though we warned you, You're still up for this plan?" Ddraig asked. "Well duh. If we're gonna beat Vali, I have to be prepared. I can't let him half Rias' or the other girl's breasts." I replied. "If that's what you want to strive for, I'd say you'll have to face the past possessors one day. But once you've achieved Balance Breaker during training, We'll find a way to tackle your plan at a later time." Azazel said.

"Now we can discuss that unknown presence." He said. "Well, I could only sense it for a second and Vali sensed it too." I replied. "I see. What do you think, Ddraig?" Azazel asked. "I could sense it too. The presence did feel familiar to the Black One." He replied. "The Black One? Don't tell me there is another Heavenly Dragon." I said. "I have a clue on what dragon Ddraig is talking about but I'll have to look into it." Azazel said, then a magic circle appeared near his ear. "Huh?" Azazel said. "Oh, Looks like I have work to do. I'll see you later." He said, as Azazel left.
