Chapter 2: New Arrivals

Issei's POV:

As I headed to school, I began to think of what made that crater in the forest. "What or whoever made that crater must have been very powerful." I thought. "There you are Issei!" Two people shouted, then I got punched in the face. "Hey! What the hell?!" I shouted, angrily. "Explain yourself dawg! It's almost the last day of school and we were supposed to be dudes at the beach!" Matsuda shouted. "Hold it, Matsuda. Let's give him a moment to explain." Motohama said. "But he's got ten seconds to explain so both of us can pummel him!" He added. "Whoa hold it!" I screamed. "Issei! Is that you?" Someone shouted, as I spotted Raynare. "Perfect timing! Praise the great devil king!" I thought. "What's going on here?" She asked. "Never mind them. Come on let's get out of here!" I shouted, grabbing her arm and running ahead.

"So why did you grab my hand?" Raynare asked. "First I needed to get away from those morons and second the rest of the girls aren't here." I replied. "I guess that's a good answer." She said. "By the way, What would you think if Rias and Asia saw you running with me?" Raynare asked. "Hey! You were around so I took the chance. Besides, I've got my sights on bigger fish." I replied. "Aww, Don't be that way! You know I'm the cutest thing you've ever seen in your life." Raynare said. "You are dead wrong! That title of cuteness belongs to Asia and Koneko!" I shouted, as she laughed.

"Cutest thing my butt! Maybe she would be if she didn't kill me." I thought, annoyed. "There you are Issei!" Two people shouted, as I spotted Matsuda and Motohama charging at me. "Not again." I thought. "Wait don't hurt him!" Raynare shouted, as they stopped. "You lifesaver Rayn-" I said, then she covered my mouth. "Remember. It's Yuuma Amano when we're at school." She said, quietly. "Oh, right." I said, then, I felt something.

"What the?" I said, holding my left arm. "Hey, What's wrong?" Matsuda asked. "Oh uh..." I said, and then Raynare grabbed my arm. "Would you excuse us for a sec?" She asked, as she took me closer to the bridge. "What's wrong? Is it your arm?" Raynare asked. "Yeah. It was just like when Vali came." I replied, as I looked around but I didn't see him. "The thing is I don't see him." I added. "Ok, That's weird." Raynare said, then the presence felt stronger by the bridge. "Wait, It's coming from the bridge." I said, then I noticed a guy holding a skateboard. "Wait, is it coming from that guy?" I thought.

As I stood by the railing of the bridge, I looked over and spotted some ducks in the stream. "Hm. When are they going to contact me?" I thought, as I took out my lucky pen and began to spin it across my hand. "I guess I can just wait here until they call." I thought, as I looked up. "Oh well. It is a beautiful day." I thought, then I dropped my pen. "Uh oh!" I said, as I looked for it. "Where did it go?" I thought, then I noticed a book on the ground. "Huh? Who dropped this?" I said, as I picked it up then I spotted a girl in glasses holding my pen. "Huh?" I said.

Sona's POV:

"Is this yours?" I asked. "Yeah. It is." The boy replied, as I handed it back to him. "I guess this belongs to you." He asked, holding my book. "It does." I replied, as he handed it over. "Hm, That symbol on your uniform. Are you from Fukui Academy?" Tsubaki asked. "Yeah, I am." The boy replied. "My name is Tatsumi. Tatsumi Yagami." He added. "I'm Sona Shitori and this is Tsubaki Shinra." I said. "This boy. He's giving me a strange feeling and his voice sounds familiar too." I thought. "Say, this may sound strange but have we met before?" I asked. "Huh?" Yagami asked. "Yes. I just believe we may have seen each other once. I could be wrong though." I said. "Uh well. I'm sorry but I don't think we have." Yagami replied. "Ah, I see. I apologize for wasting your time then." I said. "It's alright." He said. "Uh oh! I better get going! See you later!" Yagami said, as he got on his skateboard and left.
