Recap

"Alana?"

Shit.

I turned around to follow his voice. When our eyes locked I gave him a nod and ran off in the other direction.

I dove back home. Before getting out of the car, I checked the time on the screen. 12:45 AM. Fuck. My parents are gonna kill me. But to my surprise, when I walked in my parents were no where to be found. Thank god.

I got to my room and instantly started to get undressed. I turned on the shower and, once it was warm enough, I stepped in. Honestly, I love showers. It's a great place to think and I enjoy the alone time I get when I take one. Once I was finished I dried myself off and got changed. I'm about to drift of to sleep when I hear my phone go off.

Gilinsky: It was nice seeing you tonight. Get in a lot of trouble from your parents?

Did I forget to mention that before high school started gilinsky and I were best friends. Yeah, the typical boy and girl who are best friends but also neighbors. He knows about all my family issues. The summer before freshman year, he decided to go to summer camp. He left for camp looking 14 and came back looking 18 and what I mean by that is that he went away looking goofy and came back looking hot. Talk about a glo up. When we got to high school everyone wanted to be his friend and no one wanted to be mine so I kinda got left in the back. Don't get me wrong, he's a great guy, I just wish he fought harder for our friendship. And I guess that brings us to present day. Me, a senior, still having no friends just like freshman year.

Alana: Nah, my parents weren't even awake when I got home. And really, it was nice seeing me? You had the opportunity for 4 years to see me and didn't, so don't bullshit me jack.

Gilinsky: That's good they weren't awake
Gilinsky: And what do you mean I had 4 years to see you?

Alana: Wow.
Alana: What I mean is that ever since freshman year you have made no effort to try and repair our friendship.
Alana: So don't give me bs about how it was nice to see me. You damn well know I've lived across the street from you for 16 years and you could come see whenever you wanted to.
Alana: But you didn't. And that's on you not me.

Gilinsky: Meet me by our place at noon tomorrow.

Great.
