Audrey's Pov
"rrrrrrrringgg" as my alarm sounds I turn it off and get out of bed. 5 am may seem early to others but to me it's perfectly fine I can't sleep anyway. I throw my hair up in a ponytail and put on my black sports bra with my black excercise shorts. It's summer so i'm probably not gonna be cold. I go downstairs trying to be quiet so as not to wake anyone. I close the front door start my fitbit and start running.
Ace's Pov
I wake up to the sun shinning in my face great I really gotta get some curtains because this boy needs his beauty sleep. I walk downstairs as I couldn't fall back to sleep. I see my dad making toast and eggs. Something you should know about my dad he can't cook to save his life seriously. So the eggs were burning and so was the toast. How do you burn toast is my question?
"Hey kiddo want some breakfast."
"I think i'll stick to my cereal that's not burnt."
"More for me I guess. What are you doing up so early it's 5am?"
"The light was shinning in my eyes because I don't have any curtains."
"Ok well i'm gonna head to work call me if you need anything byeee."
"Ok bye. weridoo" I whispered the last part.
"what was that?" my dad questioned
"nothing."
After my dad leaves I decided I would go for a run but first I finished my fruity pebbles. After I finished breakfast I put on some excercise shorts grabbed my phone and I was off. As I was locking my house I noticed the same girl I saw yesterday. She looked like she was also going for a run. As I didn't want to look like a creep by staring I glanced at her once more and then started my run.
Audrey's Pov
As i'm running I start to feel very dizzy. I collapsed and was prepared for the impact from the sidewalk when I felt muscular arms wrap around me catching me from falling. I looked up and was blown away he was so handsome. I realized after a minute I was still in his arm and quickly removed myself from them.
"t-thanks"
"No problem just glad you're ok"
"yep i'm fine thanks to you"
"If you don't mind me asking, why did you collapse?"
" I just stumbled that's all" I say hoping he doesn't read through my lie
He looks at me for a second like he doesn't believe me. Then he speaks
"That didn't look like a stumble" he says with an eyebrow raised damn did he look hot when he did that. Ugh knock it off Audrey focus I remind myself.
"Well it was" I snapped
"ok no need to get mad I was just concerned" he says raising his hands in surrender
"Well it's not your job to be concerned about me" I say walking away from that unreal handsome boy
After running away from the boy who I still don't know I realized something he was the boy I saw yesterday. _______________________________________________________________________________
The next day Ace's pov
Yesterday was a pretty good day besides that girl being pretty rude to me when I was just concerned about her I still don't know her name.
But after my run I made some friends at the basketball court so I made progress. And i'm now on my way over to one of their houses where we're all gonna meet up and play some x-box I think. Lucky for me they live right next door meant to be right?
Audrey's Pov
After my run I just hung out in my room it was just me and my brother Carlos home at the moment as my mom was at work most of the time.
My brother Carlos barged into my room " Hey little sis i'm having the boys over k"
"ok"
After that he closes my door and leaves. I don't mind the boys I grew up with them, there are the twins Xavier and Xander, Xavier is a sweetheart while Xander is pretty mean but only to those that aren't his friends or family. Then there's Lucas he's a big goofball around people he likes then lastly my brother Carlos. They all seem threathning if you don't know them but I swear they aren't.
The doorbell rings bringing me back to reality. Then I hear Lucas yell "audrey pizza's here" Though I won't eat it I still go down so I can see the boys. As I make my way down the stairs I see the boys already all situaded on the couch with their pizza playing something on the x-box.
The boys hear me come down the stairs and I hear them all say hi before turning back to their game. I mutter a hi back as well. Suddenly the doorbell rings and I hear Carlos ask me if I can get It. yeah I say already walking over their. i open the door and am shocked when I see who it is.
"you" We both say at the same time
