Two months later, me and Bash are back to our regular selves. Joking around and getting everyone in a good mood to horseplay. Besides Javier that is, he's been up in his office all the time. Bash has been bringing him plates and they've all gone up every day to have a meeting. I have no idea what goes on during their meetings, but the next time I'm going to snoop around."Princess, hurry up! You're making everyone wait!" I threw on my jacket and hurried down the hall to see the guys standing at the door waiting for me.
"Always waiting on girls"
"What are we even getting ready for?" Bash opened a car door for me and I was about to get in when Javier came down.
"Where are you ALL going?" Javier looked down at me like it was my idea and was waiting for a response.
"To the mall! Want to come?" Javier waved us off and shook his head.
"I have bigger things to be worrying about than shopping, just like the rest of you. But go on, I won't stop you" He walked back up the stairs and the door slammed shut.
"What is he talking about and why is he so hateful all of a sudden?"
"Don't worry about it Cam, he's usually this way when his business gets stressful. He has been asking for our help with stuff because it gets really busy around this time"
"What does he do anyways?" I watched Bash's face to see a reaction and he seemed nervous at first. He stuttered and paused before finally answering me.
"He owns a couple different companies and deals with important people from other countries" I raised my eyebrow and he noticed the confused look on my face. He didn't respond and I decided to figure it out on my own.
"Wait, is it like a business like McDonald's? They're worldwide!"
"Uhm, kind of. Yeah! Somewhat like that!" I gasped and sat back in my seat looking out the window.
"What sort of businesses is it?"
"Sex stores and strip clubs, that sort of thing. Like lingerie clothing and bars, stuff like that!" I nodded and looked down at the expensive watch Bash was wearing. I guess he inherits parts of the business too? Now that I think about it, I've never seen any of them work besides Javier. I can somewhat understand Bash, but the rest aren't related to the brothers.
"But what about the others?"
"Who?"
"The rest of the guys! They don't work and aren't related, so why do they live there for free?"
"They work for Javi, duh! You're so curious today. What's up with that?"
"Well, you live in a mansion and only one of you I have actually seen working. You all eat and lay around and then go to a meeting every day out of nowhere. Wouldn't you be curious too?" He shrugged.
"I'd more than likely be eating or asleep, like you said" I laughed.
"At least you admit it! I don't get how the place is so clean all of the time" He scoffed.
"What are you saying?"
"Guys are messy! Very messy!"
"Not all of them!"
"You and the rest are! Besides Javier, he cleans up after himself. He also doesn't snack all day either"
"We have maids that come in while we're all gone. Our clean up crews are usually out of the state, so we hired maids to help us out"
"Oh. Why are we going to the mall again?"
"Oh yeah, we're not!"
"Then where are we going?"
"Dress shopping! There's a huge party tonight! The whole crew is going"
"The whole crew? Even Javier?"
"Yes, if there's a party that's where he's at!"
"Wasn't expecting that!"
"We're here! Let's go!"
At the party~
We walked into another mansion, but this one was smaller than Javier's and a lot less guarded. A lot less, but maybe because there was so many people. Javier and the gang ran off to go talk to some other guys while I got a drink from the bar. I watched as everyone danced around the floor and was having a good time. I scanned the room, but lost sight of everyone.
Finally, the alcohol took over and I wobbled my way onto the dance floor. Everything was going smooth until somebody bumped into me and I went falling backwards. I felt a hand grab mine and pulled me up before I had hit the floor.
"Whoa, easy there! First time dancing?" The guy studied my face and gown before flashing me a smile.
"More like first time being at a party, and drunk dancing" He chuckled and shook his head.
"Keep your eyes open, clumsy. Arms are flailing everywhere on the dance floor.
"Good observation, captain obvious!" We headed back to the bar and took a couple shots together.
"I've never seen you around before. Who are you?"
"Probably because I don't party, and I'm not even from this area!" He grabbed my hand and dragged me to the dance floor. Luckily, the DJ in charge slowed the music down and the crowd was slow dancing.
"What are you doing here then, clumsy?"
"That's a really long story actually!" I was having the best time when I saw Bash out of the corner of my eye. I smiled at him and went to walk towards him, but the guy pulled me back.
"Where are you going?" Bash started walking towards us and quickly.
"My heels are killing my feet! I just need a quick break. I'll be back" He let go and as I was walking towards Bash, Javier bumped into me. Well I ran into him.
"Why were you dancing with a stranger?"
"I'm sorry?"
"Don't apologize and just follow me. Now!" He started walking towards Bash and soon all of us was outside.
"Okay first of all, that was not an apology! Secondly, why am I not allowed to dance with other people?" Javier turned around and picked me up before he continued walking.
"Let's go!" He carried me to the cars and helped me into the passenger seat.
"I could've walked, you know!" He slammed the door and whispered something to the rest before we all started to leave. Bash climbed in and gave me a small smile.
"Take your heels off if they're hurting you" I threw them into the backseat and heard something clank.
"Oh, no!" I climbed back there to see what it was and it was just some random sheet of metal.
"Nothing broke, right?"
"No, but can we take a walk? It's hot in here" Bash pulled off to a park and we sat on a picnic table while watching the stars. I yawned and he carried me back to the car. He set me down and looked at the blisters on my feet. He looked up at me and there was a different kind of look in his eyes.
"Camillia"
"Bash?"
