Another rainy day... The weather is exactly concordant with my mood. My face looks like an ocean of cries. I’m broken, yet still holding on. I could just stand on the edge of a bridge and jump, but life is too precious. It is worth living it and it has low’s and high’s, but after the rain, comes the sunshine, isn’t it? I hope, because I’m desperately waiting for these sunshines to show up and I’m a little tired of waiting and waiting over and over.
‘’We’re almost there’’, says Dave with a big smile plastered on his lips.
I didn’t reply. I wasn’t really enthusiast at the idea of living with strangers. Who would be either? I had the strange feeling that something would happen, but is it a bad or a good feeling? The car travels two other miles and stops suddenly. Dave turns back to face me, dropping his gaze into mine.
‘’Hey, don’t worry. Everything is going to be fine’’, he whispers in a comforting voice. ‘’This family is really caring and you’re going to like this place, I promise Paris. ’’
‘’I trust you ’’, I reply after a moment of silence, a hint of anxiety in the voice.
I opened the door carefully and slammed it before walking on the path leading to the front door of my future home.
