Chapter 2

[Catherine]

My name is Catherine Elise Carmine, and I've been living a lie my whole life. My parents are very strict and homophobic people, that's why it's very hard for me to come out as gay.

I've been stuck in this life for 29 years now.

I sigh, my family and I are in Asteria resort right now, meeting some people that I don't even know.

"Stay close Catherine, we'll be meeting them soon."
My mother said beside me.

I just nodded and followed them towards our room. We just arrived at the room and we started waiting patiently for my parent's guests to arrive.

After 30 minutes, of waiting I got bored and got up from my seat. I took my red two-piece from my bag and entered the bathroom.

I looked around and damn this resort is fancy and expensive, I put my red bikini on, then after that, I got out of the bathroom.

As I got out I can hear my mom mumbling about how I looked.

"What are you wearing Catherine Elise??!! Those clothes are sinful and immoral. What would people say if they saw you in that clothes?"
My mom said, then plant her hand against her forehead.

"Mom... We're at the beach... What do you think should I wear when I go out and swim?? A freaking turtle neck??!"
I complained.

She was about to say anything when her phone rang. She immediately answered her phone then after a few minutes of brief talk on the phone, she hangs up and speak.

"They told me that something important came up and they'll meet us later at 5 pm. They also added that we should stay here at the hotel until tomorrow, it's their treat."
My mom said, then a smile creep into her face.

I sigh and rolled my eyes.

"Great. Now I'll be outside and enjoy the beach."
I sarcastically said, and immediately walked towards the door, not waiting for any their response.

I hurriedly walked down towards the shore. I'm a fucking grown woman and fuck im still taking orders from my mother.

If only my father didn't fuck up, I wouldn't be in this situation. He had one job!! And that is to run our restaurant properly and not mess it up.

Stupid Motherfucker now im the one who's paying for his mistakes. Fucking piece of shit.

I was in the middle of walking angrily toward the shore when I bump into someone.

I look to see who it is, and it's a tall buff man, wearing a black suit and looking sternly at his surrounding. He didn't even notice that I bump into him. Then from the corner of my eyes, I saw two women slow dancing beside the shoreline.

And I was rooted in place, they are wrapped in each other's embrace, and the smile written on their face is so sincere and genuine.

How I wish I have their strength and courage to come out into this cruel world. I look in awe at them, they are so happy and contented. How I wish I can feel that love.

I just shook my head and continue to walk towards the shore, as im walking towards the shore, I can sense that someone is staring at me.

I looked back to check, and then I was right. Not far from me I saw someone looking at me with a curious gaze.

What a beautiful pair of Argentine eyes.

I was dumbfounded because of the woman's appeal. Her beautiful blue eyes Pierce into my eyes. Her gaze alone screams dominance and power, but I can also see a little curiosity in her gaze.
