"You know, it's weird to stare" Deante muttered, setting his lunch tray on the table. Just then Kandarian was pulled out of his trance. The boy defensively began explaining himself.
"Nigga I wasn't even staring" He frantically got out trying to convince Deante, as well as himself.
"Yea... fasho" Deante added sarcastically not believing a single thing that came out of his best friend's mouth.
Saying Keandrian was staring, was an understatement. Not too far from their own lunch table sat Andre, Namil, Tecca, Ken, and a few others they knew. The group hadn't even gotten along but rough times called for rough measures. Naturally, being some of the only black students, made them stick together, regardless of their personal problems with each other.
