"SHOULD I?", asking my friends if I should send the confession message I just created a while ago.

" I don't know, it's your choice Ky. It's up to you. Just don't ever go to us crying just because your so-called childhood soulmate rejects you", Mira answers before rolling her eyes.

" My only advice to you Ky, if you are ready enough to accept his answer then go. If not, then just stay what you are doing for the past 10 years", Dared advised then proceed playing his mobile games.

Jelo Von Salas, that's the name of my childhood soulmate. Well I am the only one who knows that nickname of him cause obviously I am the one who gave that nickname hehe.

I met Jelo back when we were in grade 5. He was a transferee at that time. Actually we never really talked privately. We just have a casual conversation and that's it. Yes, like a typical classmate, but ever since then he doesn't know my feelings for him because after grade 5 he transferred to another school and after that I received no news or anything from him.

I even asked his cousin who is also a classmate of mine last grade 6 but they also don't know where school he transferred. I waited for more than a year, but when I entered high school I started forgetting him with no hopes in my mind.

And after 10 years, boom! Schoolmates. I saw him at the field when the new sem started. At first I was in denial that it was him, but after asking and searching his social media I already confirmed that it was him. I tried approaching him but he is always busy since he's always either on the field or in the computer cafe.

"I mean there's nothing wrong with trying right?", asking them again with a awkward smile.

"You know? Just send it Ky!", with that signal from Yvan, I hit sent.

Should. (SunJay)Where stories live. Discover now
