Chapter 9

Shimla,the place which hit him with all those flashbacks,where the happy memories turned into the worst ones,which gave him a void feel,he looked at the hillside houses,children's laughter,nothing has changed for others but everything is changed for him,he was hearing her laughter,her making puppy faces,forcing him to try all the famous dishes of here and then she left.

"Listen Sayyam! I don't wanna talk about it and I hope you'll understand my matter and won't force me"  "Kriti! Why are you behaving like this! Please at least tell me clearly! I promise I'll make everything alright,please don't leave,just tell me once what's the problem",his voice was trembling but there she was talking with a firm tone,"You can't force me!Did I ever told you that I'm thinking my future with you?"   "But you always gave hints that you love me"  "Oh come on Sayyam!Just getting attached with someone doesn't mean I'll think about my future with him,I don't wanna sound rude but please stop talking about this"   "Why did you accept my proposal then?"   "I accepted to be your girlfriend not your wife,it was just infatuation nothing else!You'll get over it cool",he was out of words as how casually she was saying this,"I'm leaving for USA tomorrow and hopefully will settle there,take care of yourself",she gave him a hug and started walking towards the gate.

He was breathing heavily,didn't even realize that he was running so fast.
"Sir!Water?",he looked up and found Krishna standing with a water bottle and giving him a concerned look,he hated this look,he just hated,wasn't this the look she used to give him,though she was more full of life than Krishna but still he was seeing Kriti in Krishna.

"Sir?"   "Oh,thanks(he took the bottle and started drinking)"   "This place is good for having exercise in fact,you could have asked us,we would have been so happy you know"   "Why?",he gave her a serious look and she became nervous,"Actually you're our role model na?This is why",she was expecting him to say something but he didn't say anything further rather he's looking at the distance hillside houses.
"You wanna go there?You know what,there's an aunty who makes amazing tea,let me take you there,come"   "Miss Krishna,I think you should go home"   "No problem Sir,in fact my Chachu will be somewhere near there,so it's okay"   "Then you should obviously,stay safe"  "Means?I was talking about taking you there"   "And I didn't ask you to,right?"   "Sorry Sir",again she was expecting him to say something but he again didn't say anything rather he started walking to the opposite direction.
