Shoya: So here is the plan: We will start investigating where Daniel lives. We can maybe start by asking his mom.
Satoshi: Is his mother nice?
Shoya: Oh yeah. She's extremely kind. You're gonna like her. Shes even friends with my mom.
Yuzuru: What next?
Shoya: Then, we likely check we he was last seen or ask people that know him.
Miki: But that'll be impossible for as we don't know anyone that knows Daniel.
Shoya: We'll try to ask Daniel's mom about that.
*Shoko, Miyoko, Miki, Satoshi and Tomohiro agree*
*Shoya and his friends take a train and walk to Daniel's house*
*Shoko rings bell*
Shoya: Hello! Daniel? Mrs Suzuki?
*No one answers the door*
Yuzuru: It looks like no one's home.
Shoya: Wait, I don't understand. Usually Daniels at home. Today he's not here?
Miki: We'll just maybe check tomorrow, is that a good idea?
Shoya: Ok, maybe he should be here.
*Shoya and his friends start walking back to muni station
*Connections Soldier sit down at table and lay down their guns*
*Citizens gasp*
*Shoya and most of his friends start gasping*
Satoshi: Guys, get back!
*Shoya and Satoshi get in front of the rest of their friends.*
Naoka: What the hell?
Connections Soldier: What are our orders, sir?
Connections Soldier #2: Find the target and terminate him.
Connections Soldier: Roger that, sir.
Shoya: Start walking quietly. Don't disturb them.
Connections Soldier: You know, I heard rumors.
Connections Soldier #2: About what?
Connections Soldier: That there was some young kid that used to be present all the time, but now doesn't show himself a lot anymore.
Connections Soldier #2: What was his name?
Connections Soldier: I don't know, but they said that he had blond hair with black eyes.
*Shoya, Shoko, Miki and Miyoko gasp*
Shoko: *uses sign language* That's Daniel!
Shoya: Come on, let's hear more!
Miyoko: Shoya, wait!
*Shoya sneaks to walk to listen to the rest of conversation.*
Connections Soldier: They also said he was an expert engineer in his elementary school.
Connections Soldier: Most people now say he's dead. But I don't believe it.
Connections Soldier #2: Now that you mention him, maybe he'll fit perfectly in our job.
Shoya: Job?
Connections Soldier: Yeah, maybe. But that's if he's still alive.
Connections Soldier (over comms): Stealth Fang is on the loose! Repeat: Stealth Fang is on the loose! Fire on sight!
*Connections Soldiers start firing guns at Stealth Fang*
*Citizens gasp and start panicking*
*Shoya and his friends start panicking*
Naoka: Run!
*Daniel throws bomb at Connections Soldiers*
*Daniel shoots 3 other soldiers and punches 3 others.*
Daniel: Alpha, This is Stealth Fang!
Chris (over comms): What is it, Stealth Fang?
Daniel: The scouts are having them all on me. I need backup!
Chris: Roger! Night Howl, Lobo! Stealth Fang requires backup!
Night Howl: Roger that!
Lobo: On it!
*Night Howl shoots two soldiers down*
*Lobo fires rocket and blasts away five soldiers*
Daniel: Come on, let's ghost!
Shoya: What...what was that?
Shoko: *uses sign language* Shoya, are you okay?
Tomohiro: Ya-sho, you alright?
Shoya: Yeah, guys. I'm alright. But I noticed something about the small soldier back there.
Naoka: What?
Shoya: I don't know, but...
Shoya: He feels so familiar, yet I have never met or seen him before.
Shoya: He pretty much reminds me of Daniel.
Miki: Daniel?! But he's such a nice person, why would he want to join the military?
Shoya: That's the part I agree with too, Miki. He would never join the military. He too kind.
Naoka: Maybe he's not who you thought he was.
Shoya, Miki and Miyoko: Naoka!
Naoka: What? I'm just saying he could be keeping a secret from us.
Shoya: You have a point. But we don't know who the soldier is yet. We'll have to find out more. For now, let's go home. It's getting late.
*Shoya and his friends take a train back to their homes and go back to their houses/apartments*
Shoya: Hey, Mom! I'm back!
Miyako (Shoya's mom): Hey, Shoya. Any luck on Daniel?
Shoya: No, barley. But there was a gun battle earlier this afternoon.
Miyako: I saw it on the news. Are you alright? Are you hurt?
Shoya: Oh, I'm fine, mom. Don't worry. But, there was a really small soldier in the battle. He looked so familiar though.
Miyako: I see. Welp, we'll take more about this during dinner. You just made it on time too.
Miyako: Who's hungry?
Maria: I am! I am!
