☆ 3rd person POV ☆

It's been hard for Ubel to resist his strong, brewing emotions ever since he found his long lost love, Twilight. He was used to violently deal with anyone who got in his way, but now Twilight is back, he's been trying to restrain himself.

Twilight was the only light in Ubel's life. She has been the one kind pokémon that has been with him since day one. He has fallen in love with her and will do anything for her.

However, with Twilight's return, she asked something very hard of Ubel. And that is to work on himself and his actions. He has never really thought of himself, nor his actions towards other pokémon. He thought nothing of it after he lost Twilight all those years ago. But now, he has to change himself for the better for her. He'll do anything to make her happy, even if it hurts them.

Now, both of them are starting to help the Pokémon in town. Will Ubel resist his urges or will something go terribly wrong?

Ubel grumbled, flattening his red dipped cotton candy blue ears. Twilight looked at him with a stern look in her light blue eyes.

They were currently helping out someone with their garden. There wasn't any water in a while and their plants were suffering. So, Twilight and Ubel went out and got two water buckets, filled them with fresh water from a fresh flowing river. They were side by side, well Twilight was a bit in front of him. Since she walked a bit faster and Ubel was basically dragging himself along.

" Why do we have to do this!? ", Ubel complained, loudly.
Twilight looked back at him, flattening her ear as a bit of frustration built up inside of her.
" Because helping Pokémon is way better than hurting them. Plus, they'll start to like you again. You'll be seen as a good guy. ", She informed him.
" But, I don't want to be the good guy. What if someone hurts you again because we trusted them? ", He argued.
" Because they won't. They've seen your power, love. Even if they were foolish as to do so, I know you'll protect me. You'll kill them before they even get the chance. ", She reassured him, smiling at the end.
Ubel sighed, putting a smile on his face as well.
" You're right. I'll rip their spines in half! ", He told her.
Twilight chuckled and rolled her eyes a bit.

- Short Timeskip -

Twilight helped tie the apron around Ubel's waist. He looked a bit uncomfortable at first, but he was required to wear it. They were now in the bakery, helping out with some cooking.

" Now, wash your paws. ", Twilight ordered, turning the knobs with her ribbons.
" Do I have really to? ", Ubel asked, looking at his paws.
" Yes, you do. Washing your paws is the most important steps when making something. You don't want germs or dirt in your food. ", She told him.
He scoffed, but went over to the sink.

After washing his paws with soap and water, he looked at Twilight.
" What do we do now? ", He asked.
" Come over here. I'll show you. ", She told him, beckoning him over.

On the counter in front of them, there were many bowls, ingredients and random equipment. A recipe book was open, displaying the recipe for blueberry cupcakes to them.

" First, The flour. ", Twilight said, shuffling a large mixing bowl, the flour and a measuring cup.
Ubel looked down at the materials a bit lost.
" Well, put the flour in. ", She told him.
He grabbed the entire bag and tipped it a bit.
" No, no, no! ", Twilight warned.
She grabbed the bag back with her ribbons, putting it back on the countertop.
" You're supposed to put two cups in! ", She instructed, pointing to the open recipe book.
He raised one eyebrow at her. Then, after a couple of moments, she sighed deeply.
" I keep forgetting that you never got to make anything like cupcakes before. ", She admitted.

" Here, let me show you. ", She told him, grabbing the measuring cup.
She scooped up the flour and looked back at the cup. There was definitely more than a cup inside as there was a small mountain laying on top.
" Make sure to not overflow it. ", She told him, not looking away from the cup.
She shook it gently, carefully watching the excess fall back into the bag. She peered back at the cup. Satisfied, she dumped it into the mixing bowl.
" Now, you try. ", She stated, handing him the cup.
He quickly tried to imitate her. He accidentally did it quite sloppily, but not too bad.
" See, you'll get the hang of it! ", She reassured him.

- Short timeskip -

Now, that they have cooled on the cooling rack, it was time for the cupcakes to be decorated. Twilight showed Ubel how to make a swirl with the icing. She handed him a icing bag and they worked together to decorate them all.

Ubel got some icing on his cheek while doing so. Twilight licked it off of him. He blushed as it was like she gave him a small peck on the cheek.

After the icing, came the toppings. There was this container of blue sprinkles on many shapes. They used them to top off the cupcakes. Ubel was a bit uneasy as he would accidentally dump too many sprinkles onto one cupcake. It was so easy to them to get everywhere. However, it was alright.

Twilight then decided to place blueberries at the top of them. They looked absolutely delicious. Twilight brought them out to the other pokémon. And as a reward, they were allowed to try their cupcakes. Twilight brought her's and her boyfriend's back into the kitchen.

" What? Why do you have those? ", Ubel questioned.
" Well, because we did such a good job, they let us try them. ", Twilight told him, smiling.
She handed him his cupcake and quickly dug into her's. She loved cupcakes, especially the blueberry ones. Very sweet, but not too sweet.

After finishing her cupcake, she realized he hadn't even taken a bit out of his.
" What's wrong? ", She asked.
" Well, I've never had a cupcake before. I'm not sure about this. ", He admitted.
She looked at him with a shocked expression.
" You've never had a cupcake before. ", She repeated.
" Yeah. Remember? You're the only one who was ever there from me, let alone love me. I was never given luxuries like this. ", He reminded her.
" Oh yeah. But trust me, they're very good. ", She told him.
" I'm still a bit uncertain. ", He repeated.
" Come on, please, love. You need to try it. ", She ushered him.
" Alright. ", He recently agreed.
Then, he put the cupcake to his lips and bit into it.

Quickly, his expression changed into a blissful look.
" Do you like it? ", She asked, wagging her tail.
He nodded.
" I knew you would! ", She exclaimed, happily.

Mmmm, yes. Redemption. The fluffy kind of redemption. The best kind.

I hope I gave you a well part 2! This was definitely way more fluffy than the first part. I don't know if the warning above was really needed tbh, but I wanted to put it in case of the first part and whichever way it could've gone. Also, because like if you read the first part, you would understand :)
