{first person POV}
the bell finally rang, I has to hide somewhere where nobody even saw me, including cherry blossom. it was time for lunch and everyone sat at their usual spots, cherry blossom sat at the table where I always sat at, she looked sad due to me not being there. I was starting to feel bad. but fire spirit set up all the machines and electronics like the lights, LCD screen, smoke machines, etc. everyone was eyeballing the stage and machines while they were eating. I was in the janitor's closet. after fire spirit finished setting it up, he went over to me. "okay, so we're gonna do this thing once everyone's done with their food." he said to me. I nodded. fire spirit went back out there and chaperoned the cafeteria.
a little bit later, fire spirit came in and told me that everyone's done eating. I was shaking a bit. "so, you want me to start the intro or what?" he asked me. "yes, please. then I can calm myself down" I said to him. fire spirit went out to the cafeteria and started the intro to the concert. I heard a chime, it has begun. everyone looked up, they were even more confused than before. cherry blossom was confused too until what I said to her earlier popped up in her brain, she remembered what I said and it clicked. she smiled. and I was smiling too, it was finally happening. even though everyone was booing me on the stage, I was still doing a concert.
a little bit later, the concert was completed. it went dead silent. nothing at all, no clapping or cheering. I then pulled out a piece of paper with a speech. I read it out loud, "you know after a whole year of being bullied for one little incident that should've been let go after three weeks, I would've expected people to forget that ever happened. but no, people just shoved me in lockers, kicked me around, made fun of me, you name it. I've been planning this out all of this month. now for all of you people that have spread rumors about me and cherry blossom like bribing her or threatening her, she went up to me and became friends with me. she didn't prank me nor did it for money, she became friends with me because she thinks I'm a good person by heart. and that's true, I am a good person. just a tiny little incident made you guys think I'm public enemy #1 at the school! and now me and cherry blossom are together, and we've had a stable relationship better than anybody in this school. and here's what I have to say for all of you guys. yes, I did set this thing up to try to gain back that sweet sweet reputation. yes, I am together with cherry blossom. and no, I DID NOT BRIBE OR THREATEN CHERRY BLOSSOM!"
the audience was still dead silent, I heard cherry blossom clap, then fire spirit, then everyone else. "huh?" I asked myself. "god damn!" one person said. everyone was clapping, loud. I did it, I actually did it. I got back some reputation. everyone else still had hatred of me, but some people actually felt bad for me and became friends with me. but, the final bell rang and we were out of school. which means graduation comes up soon
