I lead James to the registration office. It was a iron building with a few windows. We walked in to see a receptionist. "May I help you, Ender?" She asked.
"Yes, actually. I came to help James register to be a part of the base." I said. She took note of his name and flipped through a few files. "James is already registered, however, it's very dated. In fact, James, you're 60 years old." She says. "W-what?!" He exclaimed. "Time in the Nether seems shorter than it really is out here." I explained to James.
He gave a confused look. "How old are you in Nether years?" I asked. "20." He said. "Every 1 year in the Nether is 3 up here." I explained again.
He nodded understandingly. "We will need to update your photo though. Since your file still has your baby picture." She said with a small smirk, "and I must say, it's adorable." James looked away clearly embarrassed.
"Step into this room and I'll take your picture." She said leading him into a iron room, he obliged and walked inside. I took this time to look at this baby photo. I peeked at the file still sprawled out on her desk. I giggled.
It is so adorable. I looked away as soon as James walked back into the room. "I'll make an ID card for you. Come back tomorrow to pick it up." She said smiling. James nodded.
"Thank you." He said and we walked out of the building not before hearing shouting in the distance.
{Hello everyone, I'm so sorry for the huge delay on my profile.
I've tried to update but with my school forcing me to do essays and projects every five seconds I can't do much. Also, my cousin had died earlier this year, my friend dying not too long ago and my sister's mom marked for death before Christmas, I really have to help those who are grieving. There have also been some relationship arguments lately due to stress and overall everything. So yeah...sorry everyone, I was really busy. Thank you all so much for waiting.
