"It was all a dream," Jimin whispers to himself over and over when he wakes up the next day when everything from the previous night hits him like a truck.
He quickly sits up in bed, peering over the railing to see if Jungkook is on the couch to find no one is there. Only the pillow and blanket were neatly folded on the cushion.
Jimin scrunches his eyebrows up at the sound of footsteps before they widen when Jungkook comes into his view with the smell of eggs and ham rushing up the stairs with him causing Jimin to squeak, falling off the bed with the covers.
"Jimin! Are you okay?" Jungkook exclaims, quickly rushing up the rest of the stairs. He sets the plate of food on the dresser before rushing to Jimin on the other side of the bed.
"S-stop!" Jimin says, groaning in pain at the fall he has just taken. "I-i'm fine." He says, shooing Jungkook away but he doesn't leave Jimin's side for a second, helping the poor boy off the floor and back into his bed. "Thanks," Jimin says, holding his arm.
"I'll go get some ice," Jungkook says, turning his head as he runs to the freezer.
"That's not necessary!" Jimin calls but Jungkook's already back with an ice pack and towel.
"Here," he says wrapping the pack in the towel and placing it on Jimin's arm. "You'll bruise if you don't have something on it."
Jimin nods his head in defeat. It's true, he will bruise. He's had so many bruises over the years from simply falling to the ground or even hitting himself on something, it takes very little for Jimin to bruise. This just shows Jungkook how fragile he is and how Jimin must be cared for.
"Did you sleep well?" Jungkook asks Jimin after some minutes of comfortable silence.
"K-kinda," Jimin says, his cheeks being painted a faint shade of pink.
"Ah, me too," Jungkook utters before silence fills the room again.
After about ten minutes, they both break the silence.
"What do we-"
"How do we-"
They both stop when they heard each other. Jimin's face turns a deep shade of pink in embarrassment while Jungkook's turns a slight shade of pink, which was gone as fast as it appeared because Jungkook blushing? That was unheard of.
"You go first." Jungkook chuckles at Jimin's cuteness.
"N-no, you go. You started speaking first anyway."
Jungkook shakes his head. "You go, Jimin-ah."
"Alright," Jimin says with a gulp. "How do we go about this?"
Jungkook simply shrugs. "I don't know."
"This is insane, Jungkook-ah." Jimin sighs.
"I know."
"Does everybody else know?" He asks.
"No, not that I know of. From what I remember, only I know, and now you know too."
"Did you tell anyone?" Jimin asks with fear in his eyes.
"No!" Jungkook vigorously shakes his head. "I never told anyone, I'd never tell. I know we don't really know each other but think more of me than that, Jimin-ah." He says, glancing his eyes down as if wanting to say more.
"You're right, sorry."
Jungkook smiles slightly. "It's okay, I'm just messing."
"How come I never remembered?"
"I'm not sure," Jungkook says with a shrug. "I've tried to figure out why, but I could never find anything. I mean, yes we were both really drunk but somehow I remembered and you didn't."
