Third POV
The two sisters were very confused as to what their mother had said but she decided to show her daughters first then speak, so she took them to the temple pulling out a box before opening and pulling out a thick paper scroll out of it gently smoothing it out to show us what was on the piece of paper and then she started to tell us an ancient story of a women wanting to protect her two daughters while she had the gift of the red panda, their mother continued speaking to her daughters "And what was a gift soon turned into...an inconvenience" she slowly spike before nervously looking up at us

The girls stared at their mother in disbelief slowly looking at one another before Y/n had began to panic pacing around the room while her sister Mei was trying to rip the tapestry because it was some kind of curse she said "No Mei Mei!! Wait!, there's a cure for this!" Our mother yelled out making Y/n quickly look up before rushing over shaking the temple lightly while Mei had calmed down slightly out of breath and stared at their mother "Wha..well, w-why didn't you tell us?" She spoke with a frown as Y/n nodded wanting to know as well "Because..." She started to say recoiling at the memory "Because, it happened to me" she finished with an upset expression which had taken aback the both of the girls

Mei looked lost for a bit but Y/n had intervened "Well why didn't you tell us mom??" She quickly asked getting slightly defensive at the fact their mother didn't even try to talk to them about this thing "Well because I thought if I watched you two like a hawk, I would've seen the signs and even prepare!" Ming said in a fast pace gesturing with her hands as she seemed worried for the safety of her children before she took a deep breath "But it's going to be fine.." she said fixing her lighting green smoothed out jacket before she showed a small necklace that had a symbol on it and it was a dark red with a small glow in it "Once the next red moon appears you both will take part of the ritual, and once you have successfully succeed your panda's will seal your red panda away in these" she said then hid her necklace once again

She then looked up at the both of us with a hint of sadness laying in her eyes "But any strong emotion will release the panda, and the more you two release it, the more harder it is to do the ritual so you both cannot fail! Or you will never be free" she gently spoke while our dad was already over at the calendar and had flipped it to the next month "Yep the next red moon's on...the, twenty fifth!" Our father said making my eyes widen and Mei groans "Thats a whole month away!" Mei whined out while her sister flopped on her bottom crossing her arms "That's TO long!" Y/n yelled out in frustration but their mother had came over sitting on her knees as she held Mei's giant paw and had a hand on top of my fluffy head "Hey it's okay you two, we'll wait it out together and I'll be with the both of you every step of the way" she calmly spoke trying to cheer us up and it was very much working

Time Skip
It was time for the girls to be heading to bed and their mother opened the door to their now plain empty room that had some dirt and scratches all over the floors and even the walls while their father brought in two mattresses setting them next to each other for his twin daughters, the girls sat on their makeshift beds frowning at one another and at their now empty room before Mei gasped when she had gotten her stuff dog flush back and I quickly smiled when I had gotten the gift and my (Fav Animal) plush back "Thanks dad" we said at the same time as he smiled back at us nodding his head

He walked over to the door frame next to our mother as she nervously smiled at us "You two get some rest for now.." she softly spoke before walking out and just as our dad was about to leave to he paused then turned around with a smile "You know...red, is a lucky color" he said before closing the door behind him leaving the girls in the room with their thoughts "Let's hope tomorrow will be a much better day.." Y/n whispered to her sister laying down next to her "Yeah, me to" Mei spoke as the girls smiled at one another before they looked at the door hearing what the parents were saying, and it wasn't good at all which made Mei start crying and she pooped into a red panda making Y/n softly gasp but then then started frowning hugging her sister to comfort her "Hey hey it's okay Mei" she said rubbing her sisters back "It's okay" was the last thing they both heard before they drifted off to a deep sleep being exhausted
