"Kass, I understand why you did what you did. I really do," Cipher says as she stares at Kassidy, who places her hands on the glass as her baby reaches for her, causing her tears to start falling. "But it was the wrong choice. This is a consequence of that."
"No! No! No," Elena yells but they are muffled by the tape.
"Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait," Dom says quickly as Rhodes raises his gun.
"Save your son!" Elena muffly yells as she looks Kassidy in the eyes before Rhodes shoots her twice as Dom and Kassidy yell no.

Kassidy let's out a whimper in her sleep, causing Dom to wake up to check on her before realizing that she is dreaming.

"You made me miss my shot," Rhodes says as he glares at Dom, who is walking around the car while Kassidy also gets out of the car.  "What do you think you're doing?" Rhodes goes to hit Dom with the gun but Dom catches the gun.
"Looking at you dead in the eye," Dom answers Rhodes before punching him in the face. Dom knocks the rifle out of Rhodes' hands before Rhodes grabs his handgun. Kassidy grabs Rhodes' hands causing Rhodes to fire off a shot before Kassidy slams Rhodes' hands into the car, causing him to drop the gun. Rhodes slams Kassidy against the car before punching her in the stomach a few times, causing her to fall to the ground. Dom blocks and throws a few punches as he picks Rhodes up by the throat before slamming him on top of the hood of the car. Kassidy sees Rhodes' handgun before quickly grabbing it as she stands up. Rhodes tries to choke Dom, who is holding him down by the throat with one arm. "Kass, no."
"That was for Elena," Kassidy says after she shoots Rhodes in the head, causing Dom to look at her in shock. "Let's finish this." Kassidy walks around to the driver's side after dropping the gun into the snow while Dom throws Rhodes' body into the snow.

Kassidy wakes with a gasp as Rhodes' lifeless body appears in her dream one last time. Kassidy has been having nightmares on and off since the incident, but this is the first that Dom has seen her wake up from.
"Hey, hey, hey," Dom says gently as he pulls Kassidy into a hug while she begins to cry. Dom runs his fingers through her hair to soothe her before she eventually starts wiping her tears away. "Do you wanna talk about it?"
"I killed a man, Dom. I just straight up shot him," Kassidy explains as tears form in her eyes once more. "And I don't know how to stop thinking or dreaming about it."
"I know it's hard but sometimes in life you make choices," Dom explains as he remembers his own memory that has been plaguing his dreams here lately. "And you never look back because if you do look back then the choices will haunt you for the rest of your life."
"What choice did you make?" Kassidy asks as she looks up at him confused.
"Dad!" Little Brian calls from his room, causing Dom to quickly get up to go check on Little Brian.

"Three-eighths ratchet," Dom tells his son as they work on a tractor later that day. Little Brian hands him a ratchet. "Three-eighths driver. Six-inch extension." Little Brian grabs a tool as Dom turns to look at him. "Are you sure?" Dom smiles as Little Brian puts the tool back before grabbing the correct one. Brian nods with a smile as Dom fits the driver to the ratchet. "Remember what your daddy told you. Be precise in life. It can make all the difference. Now, watch this." Kassidy walks outside as she wipes her hands off with a towel before walking towards Dom and Little Brian. "See how it's working now? And you see what's happening?"
"It's turning the screw," Little Brian says with a nod as he watches his father work.
"You're right," Dom says with a smile while Kassidy watches them with a smile of her own.
"Water heater's out again," Kassidy tells Dom as he turns to look at her.
"It's the price we pay for peace and quiet," Dom says with a smile, causing Kassidy to nod in agreement. "Want to come and give us a hand?" Kassidy goes to walk over to him but stops as they hear a car engine before they see a car. "Are you expecting someone?" Kassidy looks at Dom before shaking her head no.
"Brian, remember what we practiced," Dom says as he looks down at his son. Little Brian runs into the garage before pulling on a rope that opens a box in the ground. Brian gets inside before pulling the lid of the box down, causing Kassidy to frown since her son shouldn't have to live this way. Dom opens the gun cabinet inside the garage before handing Kassidy a handgun and grabbing himself a shot gun. Dom walks out of the garage, pumping the shot gun as he points it at the car while Kassidy's hands shake as she holds the gun because her mind flashes with Rhodes' lifeless body.
"Yo, yo!" Roman yells from the car as Tej, who is driving, comes to a stop. Roman puts his hands out the window in surrender. "We come in peace. We come in peace!" Dom lowers his gun as Roman opens the door before stepping out of the car with his hands in the shape of a heart. "It's me! Your handsome brother-in-law!" Dom looks at Kassidy before they share a smirk. "Roman? Maybe you don't recognize me cause I've been tanning all week, bro." Roman rubs his face, causing Kassidy and Dom to laugh.
"B, come out, son," Dom calls as he hands Kassidy his gun. Little Brian climbs out of the box as Kassidy puts up the guns while Tej pulls up to the house.
"What you gonna do with that thing, man?" Roman asks as he climbs out of the car, followed by Ramsey. "What, you out here trying to kill elephants or something?"
"We would've called first," Letty says as she walks over to Kassidy, giving her a hug.
"Except you actually need phones in order to get phone calls," Tej says as he walks around the car while Dom walks over with Little Brian holding his hand. Roman gives his sister a hug as Letty steps back. "You know that right?"
"Little B!" Roman says with a smile before giving him a hug.
"Hi!" Brian says with a smile.
"Wow. You're so big," Ramsey says with a smile as she waves at Little Brian. "Hi."
"Now, I know you don't carpool," Dom says with a smile as he looks at Tej before looking at Letty, Ramsey, and Roman. "So what's up?"

"Mayday! Mayday!" Mr. Nobody calls on the video. "My plane is under attack by a rogue agent." Static. "We're being boarded. I've got dangerous cargo on board." Gunshot in the background. "I need you to assemble the team." Static. "Still alive." Static. "I'll explain." Mr. Nobody grunts as he is tackled to the ground. The video cuts out.

"It's an SOS transmission from Mr. Nobody's plane," Ramsey explains as she looks at Dom and Kassidy. "It came through with a mess of encrypted data, most of which I'm still trying to crack."
"Did anybody else get this?" Kassidy asks as she looks away from the tablet to Ramsey.
"Well, that's the thing," Tej says with a small sigh. "He sent it only to us."
"Why just us?" Kassidy asks as they all glance at Dom, who has been quiet. Tej looks over at Ramsey, giving her a nod before she pulls out a foldable keyboard, typing on it. On the tablet she brings up a photo of Cipher.
"He caught Cipher," Ramsey explains as Dom slightly glares at the picture with a frown while Kassidy feels her hands begin to shake out of anger. "But there was a midair attack, and she was extracted." Kassidy glances back Dom again, knowing they needed to come out of retirement to finish what had been started with Cipher. "It seems his plane crashed somewhere here, over the northwest region of Montequinto." Ramsey brings the location up on the tablet.
"If Mr. Nobody survived, we need to find him," Letty takes over the explanation. "But the whole area is sealed off. Isolationist, run by military."
"We're not on call anymore," Dom finally says as he shakes his head, causing the team to look at him confused before he starts walking away.
"Wait, wait," Roman says as he quickly follows him. "Dom, this is Cipher." Dom stops walking as he tenses at her name. "The woman who killed one of your friends that was protecting your son."
"Things change," Dom says as he looks back at the team before going inside, causing Kassidy to lightly shake her head.
"Listen, we're wheels up at 8:00am," Tej says as he hands Kassidy the tablet. "If you change your mind."
"Thank you," Kassidy says as she looks from the tablet to Tej before Roman pulls her into a quick hug.
"I'll see you guys in the morning," Letty says, causing Kassidy to smile since she knew that Letty was going to try to help her change Dom's mind.

"Daddy, do you know where God is?" Little Brian asks as he lays in bed.
"Where is God?" Dom asks him back with a smile.
"In your heart," Little Brian answers him with a matching smile.
"He's in your heart too," Dom tells him a he points at where Little Brian's heart is. "And you know something? I'll always be in your heart."
"Hey, my handsome man," Kassidy says as she walks into Little Brian's bedroom. "I have a gift for you." Kassidy takes the cross necklace used for her and Dom's marriage off, causing Dom to look at her slightly confused. "Your father gave this to me. And now I'm going to give it to you." Kassidy puts the necklace around Little Brian's neck. "It's very special. Take care of it." Kassidy kisses Little Brian on the head before leaving the bedroom, grabbing her bag that is sitting outside the door.
"Goodnight," Dom says as he kisses Little Brian on the forehead before following Kassidy outside, where Letty is waiting against Kassidy's car.
"This isn't who we are," Kassidy tells Dom with a frown as she puts her bag into her car. "As much as I want it to be, it's just not."
"Brian and Mia got out of the game when they became parents," Dom explains his reason for not wanting to go.
"We're not them," Kassidy says with a small smile and a shake of her head. "I can't let the past go like you did, Dom. She took away one of my friends. And Mr. Nobody deserves our help after everything he has done for us." Dom slightly nods in understanding as Kassidy gets into her car.
"I think you should watch the footage again," Letty says as she hands Dom the tablet before getting into the car. Dom looks at the tablet confused before he watches them go.

Dom walks back into Little Brian's room, seeing that he is asleep, causing Dom to smile as he walks over to the bed. Dom notices the cross necklace hanging on the bed frame, causing Dom to gently grab it before realizing something. Dom goes out to the garage with the tablet that Letty had left with him. Dom begins watching the video again, especially the part where Mr. Nobody is tackled. Dom pauses the video before zooming in on the shirt area of the person that tackled Mr. Nobody. Dom is slightly shocked when he sees the same cross necklace hanging around that person's neck. Dom walks over to a drawer before pulling out a postcard with a picture of Mexico and the same type of cross on it. Dom sets the postcard down before grabbing his cellphone, making a call.
"Mia, it's Dom," Dom says once the person on the other side answers. "I need a favor."
