So you know how in the 200th episode the author said that everything after the intermission is her fanfiction, it's her fanfiction because she believes Chuck's story is done. So the time period of Sam jumping into the pit and Dean finding Sam a while later is the intermission. Remember how in her version there are aliens, and how they explore the nature of destiel, well, that's canon. Remember how Dean thought he was being abducted by aliens but it was just fairies, that's the aliens in her story. Then, exploring the nature of destiel, in 8x17 Dean's "I need you" was originally going to be "I love you" so that's obviously exploring the nature of destiel. Now one can only hope that the rest of her fanfiction comes true
