Heroes of the Universe Book 1: The 4J Class Dance

Chapter 1

(This whole chapter and the next chapter is written from Lyna's POV)

The bell echoed across the campus grounds. It was time for dance class!My favourite time of the day!

As the 3 other Heroes and I trudged off to the P.A.L. Room, we discussed what the teacher, Mrs Williams, would task us with that day. Once the whole class settled down, I was excited.

“Alright. Sunny Field Appreciation Week is at the end of this semester. We will practice our performance for this semester as there's only 9 lessons due to Blended Learning every other Monday and we are dancing to the song A Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay. I have tasked 8 as our performance committee. They are Lyna, Iris, Carissa, Thalia, Hui En, Yun Jie, Zoe and Angela. The 8 of you,will you please come up? ” Mrs Williams briefed.

“We need to SNAP & SLAY this performance as the secondary school kids are watching too. We need to give them a good impression, got it?” Angela encouraged the class.

I was the one to demonstrate the choreography live as I take dance classes at Commonwealth School of Teaching Dance (CSTD)

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Carrie, the least athletic girl in the class, just standing there and doing absolutely nothing.

I grew extremely worried. Since the other Heroes, Carrie and I already had a WhatsApp chat group, I knew that I could text her privately to help her with anything she needed.
