UNEXPECTED

CHAPTER 3

Priya's pov :

I don't know what superpower my bestie has that she can cheer me up anytime. Literally,Now I am back to my all cheery self and is in a doubt that maybe I am in a sugar rush. But if Naina would not have started vibing in our favourite song which eventually led me to also join in then I would be all grumpy now and most probably would have spoiled the upcoming meeting.

Now I am all ready and waiting for Dr. Aroura to come.

**time skips **

Soon Dr. Aroura arrived with one more guy and to say I was shocked would be underestimate;it felt like my soul left my body.

I am sure that my shock was fully evident on my face and I am more then sure that I saw almost same expression on his face too but for a very less moment which was soon masked by a cold exterior since he was the same guy I encountered at the cafe.

His friend whose name was still unknown to me too had his jaw hanging open means literally and not only that but Naina too had the same expression as his which caused me to internally smirk. I am surely not letting this topic drop so soon even if I didn't deserve anything but Naina deserves the world and don't know why but I trusted this guy.

Soon the meeting started and my heart was beating so fast that I felt like it was going to burst out.

I am damn sure that he was going to deny I had that feeling and by seeing him I could see that he was getting angry and there was one more very know emotion which I could not put my finger on was swimming in his eyes.

Those eyes were so mesmerizing that I felt like I was drowning in it but soon I was snapped out of it when he started to say;

"Sorry....."

But was cutoff by his best friend pulling him out of the room. I don't know why although I knew the answer but still I had a bit hope that his best friend will manage everything.

Soon they came back and his best friend announced while Dr. Aroura remained uninterested.
"We are ready to do this partnership."
And then I and abhinav signed the contract.

I was so much thankful to his best friend and I was sure to thank him.

Soon the meeting was dismissed and I rushed to meet his best friend.

Thank God unlike Abhinav who rushed away as if his pants were on fire he was roaming around taking in all the scenes in our hospital. I reached out to him and called him,"excuse me "

He then turned around and smiled saying,"yes"

"Actually thank you so very much bhai if you were not there then I don't know how we would have won this deal so thank you very much. By the way what is your name?"

I don't know but it felt right to call him bhai. He seemed to be in a daze but soon snapped out of it and said,"it was not a big deal anyways my name is shaurya,Dr.shaurya Kapoor. "

"And my name is Dr.priya sharma."

"Now since I called you bhai let me inform you one thing I am on your side go win your queen."

He seemed shocked but then replied back.

"H-how come you came to know?"

"You know I have a very intelligent brain."

"Since you have called me bhai I hereby take a vow to fulfill my duty as your brother ."

While posing like he was truly taking a vow.
I started laughing and slapped his arm lightly and he also started laughing.

We spent some more time talking and then we went back to our way.
I don't know why when he took the vow it felt so real and caused a giddy feeling inside my heart.

Anyway since I had half day today I went home to enjoy my off. He is a good human and I hope not necessarily a brother but he could be a friend to me.

Shaurya's pov: (after meeting)

I don't know what abhinav will do without me he is a brother to me and sometimes his behaviour really concerns me.

Here I am now after he left me roaming around the hospital which is now a partner of our hospital too.

Today I felt so happy for making abhinav understand that how important this deal is. This is the hospital where that cafe beauty, whom my silly friend shouted at ,I am still very angry about it; works.

Not only I was happy to see happiness in her face but I was happy to see the happiness of her friend too it felt like I am her brother and I made my sister happy.

It felt really good, I have always wanted a sister when my parents passed away my mother was expecting a girl child and I was very excited about it but my bad fortune that I lost everything even my parents but then I found Abhinav's family which is now my family too.

Anyways I was very surprised to find them here and even more shocked to know that it was with them that we were going to do the deal........

My chain of thoughts was broken by a girl calling me and it was none other than cafe beauty's best friend. And when she called me bhai it felt like there was a connection made between us.
I don't know whether it was Gods doing, a consequence or she was a mind reader but like I said before she seemed to be a small sister to me and when she said that it felt too right and that very moment I felt like I have to protect her from this cruel world.

I soon came out of the chain of thoughts and replied her back. I even took a vow that I will play all my duty as a brother and this came from my heart even if she said it in a mean of joke.

We talked a bit and she teased me about Naina a lot, the name I came to know about while talking to her .

What a beautiful name....

Soon we decided to end our conversation and we went away towards our respective paths.

Today not only I got a love interest but also a sister. It was really a very eventful day. Let's go and see how my great brother is doing after leaving me behind.
