My younger self was ambitious.
She had a lot of hope and big dreams, and was so determined to realize them.
She wanted to become a woman so able, self-sufficient and independent. A woman whom her parents would be proud of. And a woman who would live her life the way she pictured it.
She was that young, dreamy, futuristic lady back then.
But harsh reality sometimes comes with a hard slap in the face.
That life doesn't always flow that way.
Plans don't always work the way you want them to.
Sometimes, your plans are going the wrong way.
No.
Sometimes, you are going the wrong way.
Without realizing...
That along that way, you're already failing yourself, turning down opportunities, making bad decisions...and losing precious people.
Harsh.
And the misery won't end just yet.
Guilt and regret will creep in and make you question all your life choices.
What if...
What could have been...
Too much of a misery to handle.
And you'll be there, lying in your bed, looking at the ceiling, with all those shit in mind.
How are you supposed to live the life you never imagined?
If the universe seems so determined to make your life miserable, how will you be able to redeem yourself?
