(only chandler, ross, and joey for now, sorry! when i get the time i may add rachel, monica and phoebe.)

chandler - central perk. you walked into the cozy coffee shop, a confused but intrigued expression on your face. you were new to the area and wanted to get to know the surroundings. there was a large couch placed in the center of the shop, a group of people about your age were sat, engrossed in conversation with one another about comedians and pink floyd. you raised your eyebrow, but quickly stopping yourself from eavesdropping, and took a seat on a stool at the counter. you ordered yourself a drink, when the loud group of people suddenly lowered their voices, and were speaking in very hushed tones. eventhough you couldn't hear exactly what they were saying, there seemed to be encouragement and persistent voices from the whole group, apart from one, who seemed to be displeased and resistant. you took a long sip of your drink, when a voice appeared behind you. "hi. uh-m, hi." the voice said, coughing slightly in-between. you stopped drinking and turned your head in the direction of the voice. a young, very attractive man with floppy brown hair was smiling down at you, rubbing his hand on the back of his neck. "chandler." he paused for a moment and you raised your eyebrow at him. "chandler is my name." he laughed at himself awkwardly and you could tell he was probably dying inside. but, you thought it was cute. "hi, chandler. i'm y/n" you smiled at him and extended your hand, he took it eagerly and shook it, his skin soft and his grip gentle. "so, what can i do for you?" you took back your hand and held it in your lap. your engagement in the conversation and the fact you didn't just laugh in his face really calmed him down, and he confidently asked if he could sit in the seat next to you. you agreed, and began talking about random things - what you both do for work, where you grew up, where abouts you live, etc. you found out that you had just moved into the bottom floor of his building, and chandler jumped at the chance to ask you if you needed help unpacking. you agreed to his kind offer, and took chandler to your apartment, spending the rest of the day getting to know one another and falling for eachother. what you didn't know, is that the whole time you were in central perk, his friends were peering over the back of the couch in anticipation, silently cheering him on as he had successfully worked up the courage to spoke to the "prettiest person he had ever seen".

ross - the museum. you had lived in new york for a while, but had never really visited it. you decided to take a day to yourself, buying coffees and street food as you took yourself around the tourist attractions. your next stop was a museum of history. you had never really been too interested in the subject, but it was free entry, so what was the harm in having a quick look around? you entered and were immediately greeted by some signposts, you decided to take the dinosaur route as your first option. your eyes gazed adoringly at the huge sculptures and skeletons that towered over you, your fingers tracing the information posts as you walked by. it was quite empty in the dinosaur room, but a man in the far corner dressed in a long, white coat was fixing a display that had slightly fallen down. "excuse me?" you questioned politely as you walked up to him. "yes?" he said turning around, his eyes growing slightly wide as he looked at you, "how may i help you?" he flashed a smart smile which you returned. "where are the toilets, please?" after pointing you in the direction, you thanked him and walked away. you shook your hands dry as you walked out of the bathroom, your stride coming to a halt when you saw the worker from before stood outside the door, leaning against the wall. "hi, sorry, you dropped this" he ushered, handing you the hair grip that must have fallen out of your hair. "oh, i didn't even realise. thank you." you chuckled, putting it back in your hair. "no worries," he said, still looking at you. "i'm ross, by the way." you smiled and introduced yourself. "well, y/n. i was wondering if you weren't busy, if you'd mind if i joined you? i've finished my shift now, maybe i can show you around the museum?" eventhough you didn't really want to be in the museum, you agreed as you were intrigued by the attractive, young man. you both ended up venturing outside of the museum and sight-seeing the rest of new york together. after exchanging phone numbers, he walked you home, and he vowed that on your next date he would get you interested in fossils.

joey - on a movie set. getting work experience behind the scenes of the show business was boring. you currently hated your job, but you only had one more movie to get through before you moved to hollywood to start your real dream. you made your way to the movie set, pulling down your tight skirt, your high heels tapping with every step against the concrete. you didn't like the uniform you had to wear, you felt a bit exposed and it wasn't the most comfortable clothing. you sighed as you pushed open the heavy stage doors and grabbed your clipboard and headset. you had a full new cast coming in and newbies were always difficult to deal with. "okay, y/n!" the director called to you, "we have a j. tribbiani up next!" you ticked off the name on the clipboard and went into the cast room. your eyes scanned the room, eventhough you had no idea who this person was, you always played a game with yourself to see if you could guess who it was before you called their name. your eyes landed on a young, incredibly attractive man who was sat nervously leaned forward in his seat, gripping his script with a slight bounce in his legs. his eyes met yours and they seemed to glimmer, his hair was neatly floppy and looked so soft. your breath hitched in your throat as you looked at him, but you quickly coughed as you snapped back to reality. "um.. j. tribbiani?" you questioned loudly, trying to avoid the man's gaze to avoid embarrassing yourself. "yep!" the man from before stood up eagerly and walked over to you. "hi, i'm joey" he smiled his perfect teeth at you, wanting to shake your hand. your heart beat raised as you shook it, his thumb flirtatiously stroking a gentle circle against your skin. "hi, i'm (full name)" you managed to squeak out. this may be the most handsome man you had ever seen, but you had to stay professional. "well y/n, i don't normally do this but i was wondering if you wanted to grab a drink with me after my scenes? i don't have that many, so i shouldn't be too long." you chuckled at him and wanted so badly to agree, but you had to say no. he seemed taken back and disappointed. "i'm sorry, it's just i'm working all afternoon and if my boss sees me dating a cast member he'll probably fire me." you looked at joey as he nodded slowly, when you suddenly realised what you said. "no, not dating! i just mean-" you flustered but he cut you off, now he was the one chuckling at you. "it's okay," he said softly, "how about you give me your number and maybe we can meet up a different time... away from here and your boss." you smiled at him and agreed, your stomach doing front flips as you handed him your business card. who knew that your boring job could suddenly become so perfect?
