Chapter 5

3 Weeks Later

-Avery Pov-

It's been a couple of weeks since Taehyung and I went to the market together and ever since then we've hung out a few more times. We would do regular things, like walk around the park at night and just talk. It may not seem like much but just having company is nice to me.

I feel so close to him now like we can talk about anything with each other, and laugh and hang out all the time.

I have also been hanging with Jk, Jimin, and Hobi a couple of times too. The last time we hung out we went to Sky Zone, which was Hobi's idea but neither of us complained.

~Flashback~

"Come on guys this is going to be so much fun!" Jk said while jumping up and down excitingly like a toddler.

"I knew you would love this you are such a child." Hobi laughed. They then both ran to get socks while Jimin and I looked around at the little kids running and jumping.

"It smells like sweat and dirty socks in here." Jimin said while walking towards Hobi. "agreed but we're going to have fun." I said as I followed him.

"Where's Jk?" I asked Hobi.

"Oh, he's over there putting on his socks." He responded while getting us ours. We then turn around to look for him but we didn't see him. "Well, he was over there putting on his socks," Hobi said as he smiled nervously.

"Oh looked there he is," Jimin said trying to control his laughter. I scanned the area he pointed at and spotted Jk, he was jumping near the basketball hoops and continuously making dunks on a random little boy. "You guys think we should stop him?" I asked while staring to walk over to him.

"No" Hobi answered while grabbing my shoulder. "Let the kids play."

"Hyung!!?, Why did you get me a size extra small?" Jimin yelled with an embarrassed look on his face.
"Well, they fit don't they?" Hobi replied putting his socks on. I laughed at Hobi's response but then stopped knowing that he wasn't joking...

"Now you two sit right here and wait until hobi comes back," I told them in a sharp tone. "I don't see why we are on time out, this was mostly Jk's idea," Jimin stated.

"Don't blame this on me," Jk mumbled turning his head towards Jimin. "Jimin laughed while doing it, he's evil." He said while laughing.

"Both of you play too rough and are too old to be playing against little kids in dodgeball. Y'all made them cry, threw the balls in their face, and called them dummies." I said while looking at them with narrow eyes. "Ok, all of that isn't true..." Jimin commented.

"The oldest one was 15 so they weren't all little." He said while smiling after.

Hobi then returned with slushies and fries while slightly smirking. "Ok, guys I got us something to eat and the number of that pretty cashier over there."

"Great, first I get put in time out, then Hobi is getting numbers without me," Jimin whined as he grabbed his fries.

"Soooo.....How are you and that Tae guy doing ave?" Jk asked me. I looked at him wide-eyed, surprised that he would even ask about him out of the blue like that.

"We're still friends so we're doing well.." I responded. Hobi and Jimin both looked at each other and looked down afterward.

Weird.
