BrokenShade was standing akwardly in the training hall.
She had been given a 'trainer' to train her to use her magic and wings. In exchange for that, she had to help them.
Now the trainer was telling her how to use her wings. She had already learned shadow.
But she suddenly froze.

A memory.

Her aunt was right above her. Frowning as if something was very wrong.
"Is it tue-"
Before she could finish, Ang cut her sentence off.
"Yes."
Then she started crying.

She didn't know why.

It was a bit later now, after she woke up.
Dad is dead. She thought. I'll never see him ever again... We won't share anything anymore.
We can't even talk to each other anymore.

It had been a few hours since that memory. She was trying to decipher what it meant.
She couldn't tell yet. And she wouldn't tell anyone.
For as long as she could, anyways.

"Focus!"
The trainer hissed, and she refocused, since now she was on portal powers and healing powers.
The Russian Blue cat sighed in exasperation.
Now she paid attention to his details, which he was called an elite but was warned that he was quite a bit evil in that matter.

The cat had a mask on, and he wielded a blue arrow like object, it was sharp.
But BrokenShade felt like she faintly remembered him.

She pushed that thought away, though it nagged.

She remembered now.
"Ghoul!"
Ghoul jumped in response. They had finished training.
"How do you know my name?!"
"I remember you from..."
She thought hard.
"Some sort of cave. Another russian blue cat was with us. She had stolen some sort of magic I think."
"Give me a brea...."
He paused.

"Though I do remember that too."
BrokenShade nodded eagerly.
"Same here!"
"Think it's real?"
"We should go there. I think it's in my world."
"We can't just leave!"
She looked at him, determinedly smiling.
"Then we'll go after we help! He'll have no excuses then. Besides, he's scared of you."

Ghoul nodded.
"Well, see you tomorrow morning then, Broken."
She recognized that nickname.
Her name must be BrokenShade, it rang a bell.
She walked into the office area.
"Hello, my dear. Oh, if it isn't Ella girl, you're famous!"
"Thanks, but I'd prefer being called BrokenShade."
"Right. Well... you have a room with Ghoul! Right, you must not know his name. He's your-"
BrokenShade cut her off.

"I know, thank you very much. Which room?"
"Room 186."
BrokenShade nodded before heading off down the castle halls. Finally, she found it.
She knocked on the door.
"It's BrokenShade. I have a room with you."
The door opened.
"Come in and lay down then. Don't be scared of how it looks different, it's normal here."
She nodded.

Eager to sleep after such an eventful day, she went to sleep in the bed beside Ghoul.
