"SHUT UP ROBIN!" Raven yelled at him, punching him with her demon energy, "NONE OF US WANT TO DEAL WITH YOU- JUST GO AWAY!"
Robin picked himself up off the floor, holding his injured arm.
"I'm just trying to help you guys! It's not good to stick forks in electrical sockets!" He shouted back, using his good arm to point at Starfire and Beast Boy sticking all different type of metal objects into the socket.
"Oh go away Robin, you always gotta ruin our fun!" Cyborg said, then laughed as Beast Boy got electrocuted. "You alright buddy?"
Robin sighed, rubbing his arm. "Fine, I'll go. Just please don't blow up the tower, okay?"
"Shut up, Robin!" The four other Teen Titans sang, searching for more objects to do stupid stuff with.
Robin trudged away from the living room and into the bathroom.
"Ow.." He whimpered as he applied bruise cream to his arm, "It's hurts.." His eyes filled with tears as he rubbed the cream into his skin. "I was just trying to help them... they're going to hurt themselves really bad one day..."
He could almost hear them screaming, "SHUT UP ROBIN!" as he said that.
"I just want them to be safe."
1 tear, 2 tears, then 3...
The salty water of the eyes rolled off his face and onto the floor as Robin cried. But it wasn't because of the physical pain. No, his teammates had beat him up so often that the physical pain didn't affect him as much. It was the mental and emotional pain. It was the pain of the heart.
"Why do they hate me so much?" He cried, keeping his voice low, "All I want is for them to be safe. All I want is for them to do their best. I care about them so much..." His voice broke and he sunk into a sitting position against the wall. "I care too much."
He pulled his knees up to his face and sobbed.
"Hey, Robin! I gotta go man, get out of there!"
Robin shook himself awake and rushed over to the sink, grabbing his bath rag and scrubbing his face to clean the tears. He could cry himself to sleep in a second. Just gotta get past Beast Boy.
"Robin, hurry up! I need to pee!"
"I'm coming, I'm coming!"
Robin opened the door and rushed out, past Beast Boy and down the hall to his bedroom.
"Huh. Robin's acting weird."
Beast Boy walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind him walking up to the sink.
"Hmm hmm, bout to pe- EWW I STEPPED IN WATER!!! AND WITH MY SOCKS ON TOO? COME ON MAN!!!!"
Beast Boy leaned down to take off his sock when he noticed... the water is in a bunch of tiny dots? And there's a ton of dots? Like a thousand?
"Oo, A mystery, what does Robin do in the bathroom!" Beast Boy shouted, turning into a dog to give the dots a sniff.
"Huh? These smell like... tears?"
Robin laid in bed, wrapped up in his favorite blanket (the only one Batman ever brought for him) and his head on his pile of stuffed animals, silent tears rolling down his cheeks. "I don't know... why this is affecting me like this..."
He shifted his body so his knees were once again against his chest. He felt a bit better, huddled together like this.

.....
.....
"I want a hug..."
For some reason, that one sentence, saying it out loud, admitting his sadness, admitting his need for human touch in a non-violent way did something to Robin. He had to stuff his head in Mr. Fluff's stomach to muffle the loud, heart-breaking sobs that ensued. "I want a hug," He cried, "Just a hug... please just a hug..."
But he knew that no one would give him his long desired hug. Because no one was listening. No one could hear. No one would ever know how much he suffered everyday. And no one would care.
Except for the little green worm who had wriggled under his door in order to find out why tears had littered the floor of the bathroom. Now he knew. And he cared.
