i stare at the pink polish on my nails while gojo sensei begins to tell us, that the second years will be joining our classes and training from now on. even though we are just first years.
nobara has a huge smile on her face due to the fact she is friends with one of the girls from that year.
i haven't met the second years due to traveling with nanami sensei and his team during the kyoto exchange event to which i missed to go investigate a curse near a hospital.
my cursed energy and techniques were always praised by the upper sensei's since i could see into any curses fighting techniques and know every move they would make 10 seconds before they would make it. almost like seeing into the future. i was always a big help to warn any jujustu sorcerer what to look out for and what to do when fighting the cursed spirit.
of course i never fought empty handed nor alone. my weapons were whips to be able to restrict and dispose of a curse.
nobara snaps me back to reality.
"y/n you are gonna love maki! shes such a badass and so chill!" she bumps me on the shoulder walking out of class.
"i cant wait to meet them!" i say with a subtle smile on my face. i've only heard of their team before. maki was apparently very skilled, there is some kinda talking panda on their team, a shy boy with a curse by his side, and a guy with cursed speech.
megumi confirmed how they are no threat and how nice the two guys were at the exchange event. and obviously nobara became best friends with maki. which honestly kinda urked me. nobara was my best friend. not that i have problems with sharing i guess, i just got a little jealous.
so when i came back from helping nanami sensei, nobara was talking all about this girl she met who was very nice like me, a total badass, and how cool she was.
i felt as if i was being replaced to be honest. but i wont make it a big deal because i want nobara to be happy of course.
nobara heads down the hall to her dorm which is across from mine.
"wanna watch some noragami with me y/n?" she asks while unlocking her dorm.
"sure okay." i may as well hang out with her as often as i still can.
