It had been a couple of months since Oz escaped out of the Abyss. Presently he was living with Gil in his apartment while Alice was needed at Pandora. The two of them were told to stay behind.
Gil came into the living room after his shower to find his young master fast asleep on the couch. They had been quite busy with work so no wonder. Oz was snuggled up in Gilbert's overcoat, little mews escaping his mouth. Gil was blushing madly, "Young Master..."
Oz seemed to be mumbling something; "Gi.....l......Gil" he clutched the coat tighter to him. Gils' blush grew even redder and he shook Oz lightly, "Young Master.... W-wake up please."
Oz then slowly woke up. He realised that he had been holding onto Gils' coat while he was sleeping and started to blush. "I-I-it's not what it looks like!"
"Oh is it now?" Gilbert asked with a tiny bit of a smirk. He was liking this situation a lot.
Oz frowned and fell back on the sofa, pulling Gils' coat over to hide his burning red face.
Gil tried not to laugh and climbed on top of Oz pulling the coat away from his face. "Young Master, I'm sorry..."
Oz poked his eyes out of the coat, still covering his mouth and said (even though it was a bit muffled), "You should be." He leaned up and put his arms around the taller mans' neck that their foreheads were touching (although he was struggling a bit because of the height difference). They looked in to each other's eyes, just staring back at each other for a while. Oz looked away suddenly and started blushing even harder. Gilbert looked at him with a puzzled face.

"Gil.... I think I'm in love with you." At first Gil was shocked to hear his young master blurt out something so blunt and embarrassing, but he took it in happily. With a heartwarming smile, Gilbert said:
"I love you too.... Oz. I really do."
