Meeting

Peters POV

As I hop out of my car I see Grace walking just ahead of me, I quickly grasp my stuff and jog to catch up to her. "Grace!" I say from about a meter away from her.

"Peter!, hey how are you?" she says in her usual warm tone.

"Good, how have your first few days been going?"

"Yeah pretty good, most of the students a lovely and most of the staff are good also."

"Well, are you excited for your first staff meeting this morning?!" I say with sarcastic enthusiasm.

"I little nervous, I still don't know everyone too well."

"You'll be fine, you can sit with me till you find someone cooler to sit with" I laugh.

"Someone cooler than a guy who is obsessed with math, I mean don't know if they exist," she says sarcastically.

"Ah, offended," I say, grabbing my chest as if I have been wounded. "I still think math is the best but you know I do have other interests"

"Yeah like, what?!" she says endearingly.

"Yeah like... movies. I love movies" I say, proud of myself to say a very mundane and nonoriginal interest.

"Ok well, what genre. And, you cant say StarWars"

"H-"

" You can't say Harry Potter either" she smirks

"Umm.." I say rethinking my answer "Romcoms, yeah like 'She's the Man' and '10 Things I Hate About You. " 

She looks at me with a quiet smile.

"What, guys can watch romcoms too!" I say.

"Oh I know, it's not that"

"Then what is it," I say laughing. 

I study her face for a minute looking into her beautiful eyes, looking for what she is thinking about in her gorgeous mind. I move to her soft, slightly upturned lips, wondering what it would be like to kiss her, brush my hand across her soft, rosy cheeks, and then run my hands through her shiny, wavy locks.

"It's just, I don't know," She says suppressing a smile.

The meeting starts and we sit next to each other and to other teachers, I haven't talked to yet, but have seen around.
