No one answered Tucker's question as we were all still in shock, watching the battle that was occurring outside. What looked like a giant scorpion was just outside our house! But that wasn't even the strangest part because stood in front of the scorpion were four figures. Wait! They aren't standing... they're- they're... "Are they flying?!" Champ shouted from behind me. "What are they doing? They can't take on a giant scorpion... can they?!" Sonja asked. What the hell is going on?! Who are those guys?! "Woah..." Jordan whispered next to me. "Does anyone know what's going on?!" Tom screamed. I turned my head slightly. Everyone murmured no but out of the corner of my eye, I saw Champ and Dec glance at each other, worry written all over their faces. Just as I was about to say something to them a ear piercing screech came from outside. Turning back to look out the window I saw that the scorpion had been caught up in what seemed to be a giant tornado! I raised my hands to my ears trying to block out the noise. The others followed suit. Suddenly, the windows shattered and glass went flying everywhere causing Sonja and I to scream. Tom grabbed hold of me and pulled me up out of the chair, glass falling off of my clothes as Jordan jumped up shaking the glass off himself. Tucker had his arms wrapped protectively around Sonja and Tom moved so that he was stood slightly in front of me. "You guys okay?" Champ looked at me and Jordan frantically. "Yeah, I'm ok", I answered looking at Jordan who just nodded. "Ahh!" I cried out in pain as I stepped onto one of the million pieces of shattered glass on the floor. Everyone looked at me frantically. "What?! What's wrong?!" Tom asked. Lifting my foot of the floor, I gestured to it. "Glass. In my foot. Ow!" I told them. "We'll get some antiseptic stuff and some bandages" Dec and champ rushed off. "I'll get you a chair...one that doesn't have glass on it!" Tucker sprinted to the nearest clear chair. I wrapped my arm around Tom's shoulders so the weight could be taken off my foot. Tucker came back with the chair and as Jordan and Tom helped me onto it Champ and Dec came bursting back in. While they were trying to get the glass out, Tucker and Sonja was seeing if Bubbles and his tank was okay after the whole shattering glass screech happened. Tom and Jordan were stood either side of me, each with a hand on my shoulders. Outside the fight was still in action; the scorpion was still in a tornado but now one of the figures was flying around it throwing fireballs at it. "That's so cool!" I could hear Jordan mutter under his breath. Apparently Tom heard him too because he replied with "That's not just cool, that's awesome!!" We stood (well I sat) there in awe for a few minutes just watching them, none of us realising how close the battle was actually getting to the house. We only realised when Tucker and Sonja came over to us. "Guys! We need to get out of here. NOW!" Tucker grabbed Tom's arm. We all snapped back to reality and saw that the tornado, with the scorpion still inside, was less than 15 metres away. It looked like the figure that was controlling the tornado was struggling to keep it away from us. Dec jumped in to action, grabbing the remaining medical supplies and yelled over his shoulder for us to hurry up as he ran into the corridor to put the supplies away in his bag. Sonja and Champ looked at each other and sprinted over to the table. Suddenly one of the figures outside dropped to the floor causing one of the others to rush over to him, while the last two struggled with the scorpion. They kept turning their heads to look at their friend who was laid on the floor and the one controlling the tornado faltered. He turned back and it looked like he was trying to trap the beast again, but to no avail. The scorpion came flying towards the window and all we could do was stand there.
