"Night?.. what happened? Why were you hurt?"
Dream asked, looking at me. Genuinely worried.

I look at dream and sigh..
"Well, uhm."

"Uhm, the villagers.. they..-"
I said, in a low voice, walking.

Dream looks at me, confused
"The villagers? What did they do?"
Dream asked.

"Erm, they did this. To me."
I said, once again in a low voice.

Dream blinked and stopped walking.
"Huh..? The villagers?.. but.. they're so nice! are you sure it was them?"

I look at dream, stopping too.
"..don't you believe me? I'm sure it was them. I recognized them, dream."
I said frowning.

Dream look at me, he was silent for a few minutes before sighing.
"Okay, I believe you brother. If.. they were really the ones who did it, I'll go talk to them later!"
Dream said with a big smile.

I look at him,
"Are you sure? You don't have too."

Dream smiled.
"Yeah!! You're my brother! So you don't have to worry about them from now!!"
Dream said smiling brightly.

I smile, glad he was my brother.
"Okay.. thanks, dream."

We then continue walking and reach the tree.

I sit down and rest my head on the tree.
Dream looks at me.
"Soo, when are we playing???"
Dream asked, excited.

I blink, I totally forgot about that.
"hUh- ehm, wELL-"

Dream frowns
"Don't tell me youre too tired!! You promised!!!"
Dream cried.

I get up
"No no, well- yes. BUT-"

dream started crying.

I look at him, not knowing what to do.
"Wait wait dream! UH- I- oKAY FINE FINE- WE CAN PLAY- CALM DOWN!"

dream is calm.

I look at him and sigh unamused

"Yayyy! I can't wait!! Let's play tag!"
Dream said and touched me
"YOU'RE IT!!"
dream said as he ran away immediately.

I frown
"HEY! THATS NOT FAIR!!"
I shouted and chased after him.

The day of the 'incident'.

I was sleeping peacefully. But was sadly woken up by my annoying brother dream. Again.

"WAKE. UUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!"
Dream shouted, bored

"AGHHH! MY EARS!! DREAMM-"
I said frowning while being shaken.

Dream was shaking my body then blink
"Oh!! Good morning brother!!!"
Dream said smiling brightly.

I rub my eyes.
"What an amazing thing to wake up to."
I said sarcastically. Annoyed.

Dream smiled nervously
"Sorryyy- but the villagers invited us to play!! And they said I should invite you!!!!"
Dream said smiling brightly.

I blink.
"Hhm.. I don't know."
I said.

Dream pouted
"Come onn! Give them a chance! Maybe yesterday was an accident!"
Dream said smiling brightly.

I stay silent.
"Well.."

PS: I wanted to say I don't actually know much about the canon dreamtale storyline, I only know that dream was friends with the villagers, nightmare was bullied and ended up eating the negativity apple. So this is 100% not canon and there will be some mistakes. 😭
