Chapter 3: Her

I woke up with a knock on my door, i slowly opened my eyes, still sleepy.

"Vance, it's already 7 anak" mom said and walked away.

I covered my face with the blanket wanting to sleep more.

Few more minutes. A few minutes will do.

Lumaki yung mata ko at madaling chineck yung oras, it's already 10 in the morning.

Kaya iritado akong bumangon at pumasok sa banyo. I looked at myself and defeateadly sighs.

I should've slept early, sleeping late ruins my body clock.

I have a lot on my plate today, i need to buy some paint and new furnitures for my room since I don't like how it looks on them anymore.

My room is clean fyi, but i think i can do better than this.

Tinignan ko yung buong kwarto ko at tumango tango.

Definitely better than this.

I didn't waste anytime at naligo nako.

I wore a white shirt pairing it with a  black flared pants and a black belt, wearing my air force 1 shoes.

I also took my headset but didn't add any music.

It's for decoration so people won't talk to me.

I looked at myself in the mirror and smirk.

Handsome.

Bumaba nako, i saw my mom seating in our couch with her friends.

"Vance, anak, come here" sabi nya pa and it made me hesitate a bit baka hawakan nila ako.

Have they washed their hands?

Pilit akong  ngumiti at lumapit, i don't want my mom to yell at me.

She smiled when she saw me walking towards them. I softly smiled at her friends.

I don't know them but I'm sure they're not that close with my mom, it's my first time seeing them.

"Vance, this is tita Ann" turo nya sa babaeng katabi nya na ngumingiti sakin, kaya ngumiti din ako ng pilit

"And this is tita Loren" she again introduced me to her other friend, kaya tumango at ngumiti din ako sa kay tita Loren.

Masaya silang nag uusap tungkol sakin, at wala akong magawa kundi tumango tango lang.

Gusto pa ata akong yakapin ni tita Loren ng umatras ako ng isang hakbang at kunwaring tumingin sa relo ko.

Naramdaman ko yung titig ni mama na parang hindi alam ang gagawin kaya tumingin ako kay tita Loren na naka upo naulit,  at awkward na ngumiti.

My lips thinned "I'm sorry tita, and ma, i need to go now, please excuse me." Sabi ko naman at ngumiti ulit kay tita Loren.

Tumango lang sya at ngumiti din sakin kaya mabilis nakong umalis dun.
