Chapter 1.1

"So Nanase, what do you want from me?" I asked, looking at my surroundings there were still a lot of students around.

"Well, I would like to ask you about your class situation. If it's possible for both of our classes to work together." She replied. "My class is D, your class is also D so perhaps we could work together." She added, before she brought out her phone. "Here, have my number so we can stay in contact with each other." She showed me her phone screen.

That caught me off guard at how quick she was, her smile and the way she conducted herself wasn't odd. She genuinely seems like a very kind person intent on working with my class. However, I couldn't let my guard down. So I took out my phone and entered her details whilst I too gave mine.

"There, it seems like you have a plan coming along and I am looking forward to fulfilling it. It seems like both our classes might come out unscathed by this partnership." I said, which earned me a giggle form her.

"Haha, well. It depends on your class doesn't it? Maybe some of them have already found partners, sad to say, but it seems like nobody from your year has tried anything with my class." She responded. "Well, I look forward to working together with your class in the future. I need to go, bye bye Ayanokouji senpai." She waved at me as she walked away, I too waved at her before making my way back to my dorm.

"That girl is most definitely suspicious, I shouldn't trust her at all. She knew me before she even met me which means she did her research and approached me." I pondered inside my head the various things I observed as I walked back, on the way I saw more and more faces that I didn't recognise. "She must have used the OAA app for that, but I am an average student so she shouldn't have approached me in the first place. Unless she knows something about me." I thought as I walked into the building.

"I need to be careful around these new first years..." I muttered as I was face to face with the door into my dorm room.

I walked into my dorm room and took off my shoes before doing my usual after school routine.

Once I finished changing I sat on my bed and fiddled with my phone, after an hour or so I decided to get up and make some food before going to bed. After eating I made my way to bed, laying my body on it before going over todays events

"With what has happened today I may have quite a lot of trouble left coming my way in the future, especially with Nanase and Amasawa. At least I know not to let my guard down now. Those two could have possibly been sent by that place for me." I turned to my side as I delved into my thoughts. "This exam may be tougher then I thought..." I slowly closed my eyes and began to doze off...

I woke up feeling refreshed, after the potential deal with Ayanokouji senpai I felt like my goal was one step closer.

I slowly slid out of my bed and stretched, the sun was shining through the drapes and I knew that today was a good day. Ever since I've walked into this school it has been fun, with all the money that has been allocated to me I found myself indulging in all the things this school offered.

"This school is really lenient, but with all its perks it could easily disguise the bad in this school..." I thought as I tried not to let myself get carried away.

I started my morning routine and started getting ready for school.

Thinking about the events yesterday, there was definitely a lot I could have done. Although, I did get pretty good progress.

I glanced at my phone on my bedside table, remembering how I gave my phone number to him and he gave me his. Keeping close contact with him should be a priority, but I can't make him suspicious. Although, what I did yesterday was very bold; it will be inevitable for him to be suspicious of me. But... I could always use that to my favour, reversing that suspicion could work out better for me in the long term.
