I needed a break from all my homework, so I took a walk to the park.
I grabbed my headphone and plugged it into my phone. I started walking and I thought about one thing. Dawn. She mesmerized me with herself. I have this feeling for her and I just can't help myself no more. The way she smiles, the way her eyes look, her everything, the more I get to know her the more I can't resist not being with her. As I was thinking about her I bumped into someone. I was upset because they made me drop by phone. I looked up to see her... I stood up and stared into her brown eyes. I took my headphones off and she did the same, I wasn't upset anymore. She spoke after what felt for years, she said "hey, Matt can I see your phone for a second?" I was puzzled but I handed it to her. She handed me her phone and I finally got what she was doing, we were swapping numbers. I put my number in her phone and she smiled. We finally departed ways and I texted her.

M: Hey, we should go on a walk tomorrow together.
D: ya, that would be awesome. What time?
M: after school? Or 3:30 ish?
D: how about we walk home from school together then walk together at 3:30.
M: great idea, I don't know how I didn't come up with that.
D: obviously I'm just smarter.
M: oh you did not just go there!
D: oh I did.
M: fine, I will talk to you later.
D: talk to you later.

I smiled at our texts. Can it get any better?

//Dawns POV//

After Matt and I finished texting, I got a text from Journey.

J: Dawn IM FREAKING OUT!
D: why? What happened?
J: Jack asked me to go on a date with him!!!!
D: that's amazing Journey.
J: ya, and he said to bring a friend, so Dawn would you like to go with me?
D: um.. Is he bringing someone cause I do not want to be a third wheel!
J: of course he's bringing a friend.
D: ya I will go then, what time?
J: 4:00 tomorrow, I will pick you up. Okay? Have to go.

I locked my phone when I realized that I can't go walking with Matt or I can't go with Journey. As if on cue, I got a text from Matt.

M: hey.
D: hey.
M: what's wrong?
D: how do you know something's wrong?
M: because you look like your about to scream.
D: how do you know what I look like? Stalker much?
M: no, look out your window.

I looked out my window and Matt was in the window at the house next door. I guess I never realized that was his house.

I texted him back.

D:I have to choose between two important people in my life.

I look up to him and I have a worried look on my face.

M: don't worry, I do too. But you will know what to do soon enough.
D: what do you have to choose between, if you don't mind me asking.
M: the two most important people in my life, Jack and you.
D: journey and you. She asked me to go with her on a date at 4:00 but we are supposed to go walking at 3:30.
M: is the date with her and Jack?
D: ya.
M: he asked me to go too.

I look up at Matt and we both burst out laughing.

M: we will reschedule our walk. See you tomorrow.
D:bye. I will see you in the window. Wow I sound like a stalker.

He looks up at me and laughs.
